Lost nothing in defeat whilst collecting two runner-up slots this season going well from the front both times. Nudging up the handicap without winning which is a slight worry but a straightforward sort who should give his running again.
Dual winner for David O'Meara last year at up to 11.8f, started life with this yard well (two good placed efforts). Back from a blip when running better than his finishing position at York (10.3f) last time despite a rather tame finishing effort.
Runner-up in this race last year (9lb lower mark), one of numerous good placed efforts over this sort of trip. Broke a long losing spell when successful on return from a fair absence at Newmarket (10f), below form here (better race) earlier in week.
Former smart performer at up to Listed level but hard to think he's anywhere near capable of form approaching that level these days. Run no sort of race in two outings for this yard, plenty to prove despite an easing mark.
Group race winner when trained in Australia at up to 9.9f. not come anywhere close to that sort of form for this yard in GB. Glimmers of hope for the future after a wind op, failed to make any impression when last seen, limited appeal.
Fair sort throughout 2019 winning twice his season culminating in a Nottingham (10.2f) soft ground win off 5lb lower. Came back well from a wind op at Ripon (9.8f) last time off a break (often run well fresh), worthy of consideration.
Consistent sort who has found it hard to win of late but hasn't been disgraced on either of his recent starts. Will be suited by a return to a trip like this, new yard have a fair mark to work with, cheekpieces on to provide further encouragement.
Completed a hat-trick last year at up to 1m in the summer, not won since but has posted a triumvirate of respectable efforts this year. Eased slightly in the handicap, needs to prove himself at this trip from an awkward wide draw.
One of five 3yo's in the field, landed first two starts in good style on AW/turf at up to 8.7f. Sole 3yo in the field on handicap debut, strong in the betting (2-1f) at Haydock (8.2f), failed show anything, worth another chance given first two runs.
The second 3yo from this yard in the race, ran a cracker to finish sixth in the Britannia building on that to score over 8.1f at Windsor. Below-par last time over 10f (may have been stretched by trip), not one who can easily be written off.
Ended 2019 season in style winning three of last four starts, last win off a 4lb lower mark. Built on his reappearance with a fair run at Thirsk 8f) but did make hard work of things (went in snatches), may have quirks creeping in to hold him back.
An unsuccessful shift over the winter saw his mark fall a facet his new yard made immediate use of at Lingfield/AW over 8f in June. Excuses for his last two turf starts this course winner (7f) still lurks on a fair mark if he can stay this trip.
Lightly-raced sort (didn't run at two) but doesn't seem to be progressing now, soundly beaten when dropped in trip (7.9f) last time. Now makes his handicap debut with hopes pinned that this sphere rejuvenates him.
Catterick 7f nursery winner last September who arrives having got back on the up at Hamilton (8.3f, good) last time having finished runner-up. Ought to be suited by a stiffer test but does have to run from 1lb out of the handicap.

A complex and difficult to unravel handicap to conclude the card with the Mark Johnston 3yo’s Streak Lightning and Overwrite of interest especially with the yard having such a good record in handicaps at the meeting. Muraad has a profile that appeals although dominating such a large field will make life difficult for him, he’s sure to face competition for the lead. The Channon duo Hats Off To Larry and City Wanderer give the trainer a fair hand with the former the pick of the duo. EXEC CHEF with first-time headgear could well take on some added spark for a new yard especially now he’s stepped up in trip his mark now looks a very attractive one.
