Hadn't looked a winner in waiting on both career starts before winning well at Limerick in June before finishing second in a 7f handicap at this meeting on Monday off a 7lb lower mark. May need a few to falter.

Third on reappearance/second start at Roscommon before getting off the mark at the third time of asking in a Limerick maiden over a similar trip last month. Interesting sort on handicap debut.

Off the mark for connections at the fourth time of asking landing a Tipperary 1m1f contest on good ground on handicap debut in June. Well held off revised mark since and may struggle again.

Didn't show a great deal on debut at Gowran Park last October, but improved significantly for a couple of runs on return to action at Gowran Park and more recently at Leopardstown last month. Not to be taken lightly.

Winner on final start of last term in October and came back in good form to finish fourth of 15 runners at Leopardstown in June before a solid effort over 1m at Killarney last month. One for the shortlist.

Looked like she would be capable of winning races on her first two starts last summer but the daughter of Dubawi is still without success in five career starts. Well held on seasonal debut at Gowran Park in June and more needed here.

Will have disappointed connections so far in a couple of below-par efforts since racing resumed last month. Looks up against it on first start since leaving Jessica Harrington.

Generally well held in a number of starts in maiden company before getting off the mark for connections on handicap debut at Gowran Park last month off a 8lb lower mark. Life more difficult off revised rating.

One from nine in his career, the gelding has shown little in the way of ability in a couple of dismal efforts since racing resumed before a decent effort to finish third of 14 at Roscommon last month.

10-race maiden, without a success in four starts on turf. Well held at this meeting over 1m4f on Monday and still looking no nearer to breakthrough success.

Forecasts

Zoom Zoom Babe (10/3), Soaring Monarch (4/1), Call Me Rocky (4/1), Magic Chegaga (6/1), Talking Tough (10/1), Next In Line (12/1), Silvertown (12/1), Innervisions (16/1), Varna Gold (28/1), Vormir (40/1), Yulong Voice (50/1)

Verdict

Could be the right time to side with the Dermot Weld-trained MAGIC CHEGAGA. The three-year-old has taken time to come to hand but improved significantly for a couple of runs on return to action at Gowran Park and more recently at Leopardstown last month. The filly, under the adept apprentice guidance of jockey Gavin Ryan can get the better of his nearest rival, likely to be recent Limerick winner, Call Me Rocky for trainer Johnny Murtagh. Talking Tough, winner here on Monday and Silvertown under jockey Chris Hayes are worthy of consideration.
  1. Magic Chegaga
  2. Call Me Rocky
  3. Talking Tough
