Dual hurdles winner (Cartmel & Wetherby); beaten favourite at Musselburgh recently, following directly on from her staying on second to the progressive Kaylen's Mischief here (1m4f) in June; shouldn't be discounted.
Bitterly disappointing (11-8f) when finishing sixth (behind today's rival Frankenstella) in a similar 2m maiden handicap at Beverley a fortnight ago; previously runner-up to Revolver (a stablemate of Lanzealot) at Doncaster.
Camelot gelding who sports first-time cheekpieces; always prominent (weakened late on) when finishing seventh of ten on handicap debut at Bath (1m6f, good to firm) 17 days ago; with a shrewd operator in the shape of Sir Mark Prescott; early days.
Hit the frame for the third time (0-12) when beaten less than 2L at Bath (1m5f, good) three weeks ago - race was won by the Gary Moore-trained Capricorn Prince; first start beyond 1m6f arguably makes him vulnerable.
Broke his duck when making virtually all in a divided Class 5 handicap hurdle at Sedgefield (2m4f, soft) in February; has done the vast majority of his more recent Flat racing on the AW at Southwell; is very lowly-rated (45).
Struck under the promising Emma Smith-Chaston in a Class 4 handicap hurdle at Catterick (3m1f, good to soft) last November; 1-28 overall, albeit returned to Flat action with a fair fourth to Calevade at Catterick (2m) four weeks ago.
Nathaniel filly; has shown precious little in the way of ability; soon struggling when fifth of six to the smokin' hot favourite Revolver at Redcar (1m6f, good) six weeks ago; 3lb lower in newly-applied headgear.
Has taken minor honours in each of her last three starts (1m4f-2m) - has related form with the likes of Chenille and Frankenstella; cheekpieces are introduced seeking that all important extra (and much needed) edge.

At face value LANZEALOT probably has various questions to answer, not least his stamina reserves for a stiff 2m1f trip at Pontefract Park, although confidence can be drawn on that score from the fact that he's a half-brother to the 2m hurdle (2m2f Flat) winner Oxford Blu. He's raced keenly in the vast majority of his races, but it's distinctly possible that newly-applied cheekpieces will help him to settle better on this occasion. Hailing from the vastly experienced quarters of Sir Mark Prescott, the chances are that he'll be exploiting a workable mark of 63 sooner rather than later. A fairly obvious alternative is the €480,000 (yearling) Frankel filly Frankenstella.
