€25,000 foal, £55,000 yearling; first foal from an unraced dam (half-sister to the Italian 1m Listed winner Monblue); is drawn widest of all in stall 13.
€50,000 yearling; second foal from the French 1m-1m5f winner La Tulipe; half-brother to Just Hubert (1m2f-2m); on that basis is thought likely to need further in time.
Dandy Man gelding; low-key in two starts to date, including over this trip at Catterick (maiden) last week; stablemate of Northern Cracker.
Camacho colt (from the 5f-6f winner Beach Candy); built upon a fair Hamilton debut when no match (third) for the speedy Spright at York (6f, good) 12 days ago; trainer John Quinn also saddles Umafika.
Fifth foal from the 1m4f AW winner Bond Casino (a half-sister to the useful sprinter Monsieur Boulanger); makes greater appeal than his more experienced stablemate Dandini, albeit others thought more likely.
Kodiac colt (38,000gns foal, 52,000gns yearling); ninth foal from the 7f-1m2f winner Noahs Ark; winning siblings include Temps Au Temps (7f Listed) and Immortalised (1m3f UAE); noteworthy newcomer.
Fountain Of Youth filly (800gns vendor yearling); second foal from the 1m AW winner Ambella; safer to look elsewhere for the solution.
Oasis Dream filly; half-sister to Time Warp (7f-1m2f, inc HK Grp 1) and Glorious Forever (1m-1m2f); appeared raw and inexperienced on Chepstow debut (6f, good) when finishing 4¾L fourth to Shrara.
Acclamation filly; second foal from an unraced half-sister to Huntsmans Close (6f); finished fifth (16-1) on debut at Hamilton Park (6f, good to soft) - has work to do in order to reverse placings with Footstepstothehart.
Third foal from a Listed-placed 5f juvenile winner (Umneyati); half-sister to a minor winner in Greece; essentially only moderate in two attempts on the track to date (at Windsor and Sandown).
First foal from the 5f AW winner Classic Image; raced keenly (always in rear) when finishing last on debut at Catterick (6f, good) last week; trainer John Quinn has a much stronger candidate with Footstepstothehart.
Harzand filly; first foal from an unraced half-sister to the useful Haafaguinea (6f-1m4f); trainer Declan Carroll is going through a quiet spell, but has been known to ready many a useful juvenile; merits a basic market check.

Forecasts
Shem (9/4), Humid (5/2), Artorious (16/5), Footstepstothehart (10/3), Heat And Dust (8/1), Perfect Sunrise (17/2), Jianzi (16/1), Contact (18/1), Zahrisa (20/1), Dandini (50/1), Favourite Niece (66/1), Northern Cracker (66/1), Umafika (100/1)
The Kodiac colt Shem is a noteworthy newcomer for the Middleham maestro Mark Johnston, while the Harzand filly Zahrisa merits a basic market check on her debut for Declan Carroll. However, we'll focus on those with more experience in search of the winner. John Quinn's Footstepstothehart took a slight step forward (behind the speedy Spright) at York latest, but the form benchmark is clearly set by the Cheveley Park Stud-owned HUMID (Richard Fahey). She overcame clear and obvious signs of inexperience to finish a creditable fourth to Brazen Belle on debut at Catterick, and that winner wasn't beaten far (eighth) in the Newbury Super Sprint Stakes subsequently.
- Humid
- Footstepstothehart
