Improved form when finding only Fly Miss Helen too strong in first-time cheekpieces (retained) at Newbury (6f, good; 15-2) recently. Benefit of more experience than these and in with a chance on that last time out effort.

Forecasts

Sarsaparilla (2/1), Ventura Diamond (5/2), Enoughisgoodenough (9/2), Beautiful News (11/2), Meu Amor (13/2), Rhythm (7/1), Illykato (25/1), First Lott (25/1), Seaclusion (66/1), Emulate Rose (100/1), Ambarella (100/1)

Verdict

VENTURA DIAMOND (fourth) had Rhythm (sixth) behind on debut over the minimum at Sandown 10 days ago and both can come forward upped in trpip. Oisin Murphy's mount is expected to confirm that superiority and with winner Miss Jingles advertising the form here on Wednesday; the champion jockey can win the 'lucky last' for the third day running here. Sarsaparilla improved last time and is a danger; while newcomers Meu Amor, Beautiful News and Enoughisgoodenough are much-respected in that order ahead of a betting show.
  1. Ventura Diamond
  2. Meu Amor
  3. Sarsaparilla
