0-26 so far but has occasionally run above expectations to make the frame in this sort of grade. Now races with a hood for the first time and goes well at this course, so a place in the frame is possible if the mare is revved up by the application.
Worth a try in this sort of race after falling short of the mark in conventional handicaps; her latest start was promising but she does need to prove she can take things forward again.
Steadily in decline over the last couple of seasons and, although he managed a win at Thirsk (6f, soft) last summer, he's not been noted for consistency. Ran respectably on his seasonal bow earlier in the month but not certain to repeat the effort.
Made the frame twice from 10 previous starts but has endured a couple of long gaps between races; and was in poor form when last seen out; switched yards since and probably best watched now back on turf for the first time since September 2018.
Capable at this sort of level but has looked in need of an extra push when held in all three starts since the resumption of racing this year. Has a bit to prove now dropped in trip and trying blinkers for the first time.
Possible softer ground scuppered his chances at Thirsk latest but a near miss at Redcar in late June reads well. However, he's 0-14 on turf so far and also has a bit to find with Valentino Sunrise on recent Beverly form.
Versatile trip-wise as he was back to form with a 7f win on Tapeta at Newcastle when last seen in March but has also shown himself capable of winning over this trip, too. Can go well fresh and certainly merits checking out in this company.
Has a poor strike-rate (2-28) but this is easier than some of his recent assignments. He can race freely but fitting of cheekpieces can help him settle (tried in a visor latest but the application made little difference). Chance but risk attached.
Still chasing an elusive first career win but shown little in three starts over the last month to suggest she's about to enjoy a change of fortune. Not yet delivered on the promise she showed for Richard Hannon and again looks opposable.
Unexposed in handicaps but well held in both starts this season. This is one of her easiest targets so far but the filly has a bit to prove over this trip and might just be best watched unless there is a surge of interest in the betting market.
Made very little impression in any of her races so far and an official handicap mark of just 28 underlines the openly weak nature of her form up to now; hard to see her being anywhere near good enough to win this.
Some slight improvement since being dropped in trip; best effort to date when a close third at Beverley earlier in the month (with cheekpieces reapplied... headgear that's retained today). Another big run not ruled out in a weak race like this.
Poor form so far and has done little since dropping in grade in 2020. Worth a try in a race of this nature but she would be in receipt of a lot more weight from some of the others if this were a handicap.
Still a maiden and shown little substance in any of her three starts this season. She did post her best effort to date over C&D (in a handicap last September) but has gone the wrong way since; she's not hard to omit from any betting plans this time

This could be a good time to keep faith with ROCKLEY POINT as he's gone well fresh in the past and looks to have been found a highly suitable opening to kick-start his 2020 campaign. He's also versatile regarding the trip and ground; so has a lot going for him a race that lacks strength-in-depth. Valentino Sunrise is a long distance traveler for a race of this nature and he too can go close if the new headgear helps him focus. It's Not My Fault has shown more since being dropped in trip and is highly respected as he runs for an in-form yard, while Rangefield Express and Corton Lass are a couple of others capable of making the scrap for the places interesting.
