Verdict

Two of the sextet that have run set a decent standard with the form shown by DIGITAL on both of his starts (runner-up twice) looking particularly strong. His debut form has been franked whilst the Doncaster effort last time out looks even better in form terms with the winner Ubettabelieveit going on to win the Listed National Stakes. Blind Beggar, fourth to the useful Muker (Windsor Castle, third) on debut also has the credentials to win a race such as this and it won’t be a surprise to see him step forward considerably from his debut and give the selection a tough contest. Of the newcomers the Richard Fahey trained Umm Kulthum looks the best with Penombre worth a market check.
