Sound jumper has won his share, but he falls short of the standard required at the top level, and while he ran a fine race to be second in the Topham at Aintree in April 2019 has never been the easiest to catch right.

Eight wins from only 15 starts over hurdles/fences. Likely to take the field along at his own pace and could well be still in contention at the business end of proceedings.

The West's Awakeb,t19
Age: 9|  Weight: 10-7| J: Phillip Enright| T: E J O'Grady| OR:  141

Horse silk
Livelovelaugh139
Age: 10|  Weight: 10-6| J: D J Mullins| T: W P Mullins| OR:  140

On a fair old losing streak now but can put in some useful performance on his day. Out of sorts when last seen in January/March this year and hard to fancy against these rivals.

Horse silk

Age: 9|  Weight: 10-5| J: J S McGarvey| T: W P Mullins| OR:  139
18/1
Only the one win from 12 starts over fences, back in May 2017. Is a regular in big field competitive handicaps, giving a good account on many occasions.

Age: 7|  Weight: 10-5| J: Mark Walsh| T: J P O'Brien| OR:  139
7/1
Has hit the frame in three of his four starts over the larger obstacles. May have needed the run on comeback at Tipperary last month and first time cheekpieces likely to bring about improvement.
20
Horse silk

Age: 10|  Weight: 10-5| J: C P McNamara(5)| T: G Elliott| OR:  139
14/1
Lightly raced in the last 18-months. Second of 14 beaten a nose on return to action at Kilbeggan earlier this month. Worth a note in the betting from yard who won this contest 12 months ago.

Age: 9|  Weight: 10-4| J: Simon Torrens(7)| T: A A Howard| OR:  138| C
25/1
Well down the field when last seen at the Cheltenham festival in March. Formerly a useful chaser/hurdler he's rather lost his way since winning a Punchestown Grade 3 over fences over a year ago.
22

Age: 7|  Weight: 10-1| J: L P Dempsey| T: G Elliott| OR:  135

Verdict

The 10-year-old PEREGRINE RUN can take advantage of the predicted early pace of Dinons to win his 11th chase on his 21st start over fences. The Kings Theatre gelding won a Grade 3 contest at Killarney earlier this month and can come late under the drive of regular jockey Kevin Sexton to land the spoils at the expense of The Gordon Elliott pair of Galvin and The Storyteller. The Joseph O'Brien-trained Us And Them, Royal Rendezvous for trainer and jockey combination of Willie Mullins/Paul Townend and the Henry De Bromhead-trained Spyglass Hill can all give a good account in a competitive contest.
