Out of useful 2m chaser I'm Delilah, although her previous foals to have raced have achieved little. One of two from a yard with a modest 5% record in similar events in recent times.
Dam's only win in 26 starts came in a weak mares' maiden hurdle for Bill Harney. Stablemate of Dunover, and market should at least help to pick between the pair.

Passing Glance half-sister to fair hurdler/chaser Parlour Maid (2m-2½m winner) and 2½m chase winner Beaujolais Bob. Yard 4-102 in bumpers in recent years, and this mare is bred to need time and distance.

Ran badly on latest start in Listed company, but had won a point-to-point bumper, and ran well when 5L second of 14 to Hollymount Holly on her penultimate start at Hereford in December. Has had wind surgery since her latest run.
By Schiaparelli out of useful staying chaser Emmaslegend, herself a half-sister to bumper winner and useful jumper Aimigayle. Yard 4-11 in bumpers in recent times, so this newcomer is much respected.
By Schiaparelli out of a mare who showed little in a bumper or in a few tries over hurdles. Yard not associated with success in this sphere.

Forecasts

Misstree Song (8/11), Emmarelli (2/1), Lady Bowes (5/2), Bravo Buddy (5/1), Bucks Dream (8/1), Myburg (10/1), Dunover (16/1), Baby Moonbeam (25/1), Orange Gina (80/1)

Verdict

There is little to choose between Misstree Song and Lady Bowes on form, and they set a fair standard, but both come here having disappointed to varying degrees on their most recent outings. Misstree Song is preferred with subsequent wind surgery helping to explain her flop at Market Rasen in January, but a chance is taken on well-bred newcomer EMMARELLI, who comes from a long line of useful jumping mares, and represents a yard with a fine strike rate in similar events.
  1. Emmarelli
  2. Misstree Song
  3. Lady Bowes
