Smart handicapper, winning off 105 at Newmarket (1¼m, firm) last year. Well beaten on return, but shaped quite well when fifth to Global Giant in a Listed race at Newbury last time. Vulnerable conceding weight, but should give a good account.
Won off career-high mark when springing a surprise at Epsom on penultimate start. Ran a stinker in John Smith's Cup at York last time, but not a huge surprise to see him bounce back given how well yard's runners seem to adapt to this track.
Progressed from solid comeback at Newcastle to win over this trip at Doncaster, and matched that when a fine third of 22 to Sinjaari in John Smith's Cup (Handicap) at York last time. Can go well if blinkers have a positive effect.
Retuened from a long absence to win over 1m at Newmarket last month, and possibly not over those exertions when only sixth of 23 to Dark Vision in Royal Hunt Cup last time. Had a longer break since, and shapes as though he will stay the longer trip.
Produced a trio of solid efforts over this trip since joining current yard from Dermot Weld, most recently when meeting trouble but finishing well for fifth of 22 to Sinjaari in John Smith's Cup at York. Clearly capable of winning from current mark.
Career-best when winning on debut for this yard at Haydock last month, and probably didn't handle soft ground when running deplorably in Old Newton Cup there last time. Best not judged on that effort, and remains on a fair mark.
Just a maiden win to his name in Ireland but placed in Listed company. Won a Group 2 on the ice at St Moritz in February, but made a very low key return to turf at Royal Ascot, and cheekpieces reached for now.
Ayr specialist (7-8 career wins there, most recently on his seasonal return in June). Well beaten in handicaps at York since, and behind a few of these when tenth in the John Smith's Cup last time.
Has won two from four in handicaps, and excuses for defeats off this mark either side of his winter break. Not given a hard time when his winning chance had gone on his return at Doncaster, and likely to build on that despite a wide draw here.
Triple soft ground winner over 1m-1¼m, most recently when scoring with a bit in hand at Haydock two starts ago. Hampered early when runner-up there last time, and still looks to be feasibly handicapped.
Raised 7lb for winning by a wide margin at Newmarket on his reappearance, and followed that with a respectable fifth of 13 to Sky Defender at Epsom last time. Without headgear in those runs, but tried in a visor for first time here.
Often goes well fresh and ended a long losing run on his reappearance at Newbury last month. Needs to show he can build on that if he's to defy a 4lb rise up in class.
Progressed nicely in handicap company through 2019 winning three times at up to this trip. Seems to have reached his ceiling for now, however, and ran as if something was amiss at Newmarket last time.
Won his first two AW starts at up to 1m3f, and although he flopped on his turf/handicap debut at Newmarket 17 days ago, he travelled well for a long way, and it's too early to be writing him off.
Runner-up on return at Newcastle last month, and improved when winning by 3¾L from Mordred over 1¼m at York last time. Respected, but did have race run to suit there, and has more to do having been raised 8lb for that win.
All runs this summer over 1m, and not discredited in Royal Hut Cup after winning at Yarmouth on return. Disappointing last time, but this half-brother to Elarqam is worthy a try over this longer trip.
Just had two starts in handicaps, and was showing improved form when making all to win a 1¼m handicap at Leicester on his seasonal return. More needed here, but he's unexposed and seemingly going the right way.
Unplaced on all four starts this season, but is slipping in the weights, and shaped better than for a while when seventh of 17 to Jalaad at York (1m) last time. Will appreciate a return to further, and not dismissed.

ALTERNATIVE FACT has run into trouble early on his last two starts at Haydock, so has done well to win and finish second, and he appeals as being ahead of the handicapper. He'll need to be with the likes of Derevo and Tinadali shaping as if their respective turns are near in recent outings, while Maydanny is worth forgiving a modest effort last time, and is bred to improve for trying this trip.
