Failed to build on a promising debut effort when a well beaten eighth over 6f at Redcar (good-to-firm) at the end of last month. Stamina to prove on first attempt at this distance.
Beaten 18L when finishing 11th in a 1m novice contest at Newmarket (good) when debuting earlier this month. Probably best watched on this occasion.
Unraced Intrinsic filly out of a mare who was unraced. Yard not renowned for debut winners and others hold more obvious claims on first career start.
Hampered early on and hung left when finishing 41L ninth in a 1m maiden at Ripon (good) earlier this month. More needed if she's to take this race.
Shown good form on both starts to date including when 1L third over 1m at Doncaster (good-to-firm) just over a month ago. Likely to prove hard to beat dropping back in trip.
Well beaten at big prices on both previous starts including when 27L 11th over this distance at Catterick (good) last time out. Others hold more obvious claims.
Held on both starts to date including when sixth in a 12 runner 1m novice race at Thirsk (good) earlier this month. Others make more appeal.
Improved on debut effort when finishing 6½L fifth in a similar race to this over C&D on good ground last month. Interesting to see how she performs.
Ran well when finishing 6½L third in a novice event over this distance on good-to-firm ground at Salisbury just under three weeks ago. One to note in this contest.
Unraced Fast Company filly purchased cheaply for ÂŁ800 as a yearling in October 2018. Probably best watched on her first racecourse appearance.
Finished a fair seventh in a 7f novice race at Chelmsford on her sole start at two. Changed stables and had wind surgery since and is worth a check in the market on her return from an absence.
Placed on both previous starts including when a short-head second over this trip at Yarmouth (good-to-firm) at the end of last month. Bold show expected once more.
Unraced home-bred Nathaniel filly and a half-brother to multiple winner Brother Tiger. Breeding suggests she will prove more effective over further in time.
Forecasts
Dreamloper (5/6), Thowq (5/4), Little Downs (10/1), Annie Jones (28/1), Viva Love (33/1), Like Sugar (40/1), Highfield Princess (50/1), Pattaya (80/1), Bella Beauty (80/1), Taamer (100/1), Racy Stacey (125/1), Deal Dun (150/1), Henet (200/1)
THOWQ has shown good form in both starts to date and she can provide trainer William Haggas with a victory in the second division of the fillies' novice event. The selection looks capable of getting the better of Dreamloper, another to have run well in two starts so far while third place can go to Little Downs who recorded her first placed effort on seasonal debut last time.
- Thowq
- Dreamloper
