Slade Power half-brother to 5f 2-y-o winner Stratton Street, out of a sister to Group 3 1m winner Zibelina. Overcame traffic to make a winning debut at Ayr on debut, and third has since won, so he looks capable of going well despite his penalty.

Has shown similar, fairly useful form in all three starts, most recently finishing 2L third of 7 to Cobh in a 6f maiden at Haydock. Solid place claims if continuing in same vein.

Half-brother to a pair of juvenile winners at up to 7f. Better than the bare result when fifth of 9 in a 6f Redcar maiden on debut, but fared no better over 7f here last time, and appears to be gearing up for nurseries.

Half-brother to 5f winner Shoot To Kill from the family of Palace House Stakes winner Needwood Blade. Slow into stride and well held in a 5f novice here first time, and likely to need more experience before achieving his potential.

From family of Irish 1000 Guineas winner Classic Park. Shaped well until tiring late when fifth of 11 to Muker in a 5f novice here on debut (Dan De Light behind), and looks likely to build significantly on that. Respected.

Requinto half-sister to 1m1f winner Man Amongst Men. Appears yard's neglected on paper, but newcomers regularly pop up at good prices for the stable, with Gorytus winning at 14/1 here a week ago. Can't be ignored for that reason.
Equiano half-sister to 5f-6f winner Roys Dream. Just a modest pedigree, and yard's last juvenile to win on debut was three years ago.

Off just a week from her debut effort, but much improved when 2L second of 5 to Perfect Times in a Kempton novice last time. Every chance if she can translate that level of form to turf.

Forecasts

Unbutton (2/1), Seven Brothers (11/4), Andronicus Beau (10/3), Gumdrop (4/1), Cometh The Man (12/1), Bankrolled (14/1), Dan De Light (33/1), Ey Up It's Maggie (66/1), Cobweb Corner (100/1)

Verdict

SEVEN BROTHERS must defy a penalty against some promising rivals, but he had to overcome trouble to win on debut, and that form is working out. His yard has won this race five times in the past decade, which bolsters confidence. Unbutton and Andronicus Beau have obvious place claims, and are respected, but perhaps the main danger will come from Gumdrop, who looks the type to make marked progress from first to second start.
