Seasonal debut effort offered some promise but he has gone backwards since. Last taste of success came over this trip at Epsom (7f; good) in the Autumn of last year. 2lb below that mark now but too much to prove to recommend.
Bounced back from below-par run on his penultimate start to finish third at Leicester (6f; good to firm). That form has been well advertised by the front pair (rated 87 & 86 respectively). Handicap debut. Should go close if able to back that up.
Drops back into a class five. Despite the fact he finished eighth at Thirsk (7f; good to soft) when last seen, he wasn't beaten far at all and has actually been dropped 2lb since. Dual C&D winner.
Two-time C&D winner who is now just 1lb above last winning mark. Looked sure to go close before running out of petrol in the closing stages when upped to 1m on seasonal reappearance. Drop back in trip likely to suit much better.
Doesn't win very often, especially on turf (1-23). However, he has been really consistent in defeat of late and went down by less than a length when bumping into in-form sort over C&D last week. On the scene again but vulnerable for win purposes.
Put up two solid efforts in defeat since returning to action for new stable this summer. Form of his fourth-placed effort at Bath (1m; good) two weeks ago has since been franked by the runner-up. Interesting if market support arrives.
Took a step forward when stepped up to this trip for the first time at Redcar (7f; good to firm) to gain a breakthrough career victory. Fitness to prove on seasonal debut, but is lightly raced and should be open to further progress.
Only ever ran over this trip as a two-year-old back in November 2017. Scored at this track in the past, but that was over 1m2f. Form tailed off in recent starts and now has something to prove on seasonal return.
Regressed in three starts since his debut victory, and didn't show any improvement whatsoever for the switch to handicaps when making debut in that sphere at the start of the month. Back at 7f now but others make far greater appeal.
Yet to transfer AW ability onto turf. Never won on the grass in seven starts and is subsequently 12lb lower than on AW. Looks a risky proposition with that in mind and can be left alone given how poorly he ran at Thirsk last month.
Sent off at 100-1 on second start this season and finished well-held in 12th. Dropped another 6lb by the handicapper, but she has offered no promise at all in a trio of starts for this stable. Subsequently opposed.

After he ran an eye-catching race on his first run of the year, Keepup Kevin is likely to be popular and rightly so considering he is better suited by the drop to 7f. However, we'll look beyond the obvious and Oso Rapido is very interesting on his seasonal debut. He posted a career-best when breaking his duck at Redcar last year. He remains unexposed at 7f, so is likely to enjoy a productive campaign. Preference is for handicap debutante MAJALAAT though, who has progressed with each start in maidens. The form of his recent third at Leicester is exceptionally strong form with the front pair boosting the form since. The consistent Kentuckyconnection can get involved too.
- Majalaat
- Oso Rapido
- Keepup Kevin
