Useful chaser at his best, but showed little in the way of solid form last year. Will appreciate being back on good summer ground and drops in grade, has gone okay fresh in the past and dangerous to discount.
Was in good form last autumn, and gained a deserved success at Wincanton in October. Will strip fitter for a recent run here and this mark still looks workable, so with conditions ideal, has chances today.
Lurking on a dangerous mark if back to some of his better form, ready excuses (mainly ground) to be found for a few of his efforts last year and on the occasions he got good ground, ran well. Has gone well fresh and looks an interesting one.
Wins are few and far between and he's hard work at the best of times, but he was well backed on his reappearance here earlier in the month and ran one of his better races to finish second. Not one for total faith in, but chance is there to see.
Some mixed efforts last season, to say the least, but best effort did at least come under similar conditions to today's when a close third at Wincanton. Should stay this trip and worth a glance in the market, if nothing else.
Sprang a bit of a surprise when the winner of a three-runner novice chase at Perth last year, was the outsider of the three. Didn't repeat that form in three subsequent starts but has now joined shrewd yard and needs monitoring in the betting.
Very modest form shown in Rules starts last year and mark has fallen through the floor as a result. Readily held on reappearance here earlier in the month and yard yet to get going.
Third over C&D last October his best effort of last season, and he looks very well handicapped on a 12lb lower mark here. Some time since he's won one but does go well after a break, and has each-way chances here.
Useful if you go back far enough but more letters than numbers in recent point-to-point form and that's never a good thing. Easily passed over here.
Still a maiden after 18 starts and going nowhere quickly when last seen out. Races from out of the handicap here and hard to see her making much of an impression.

Low grade stuff, but it's competitive and should be run at a good pace, with a few in here wanting a share of the lead early. MIDNIGHT MAGIC probably needed his run here two weeks ago, his first since December, and with that under his belt, he can strip fitter here and get on the scoresheet. The Happy Chappy should be staying on better than a few at the business end and hit the frame. Bermeo is interesting back on better ground and is another thorough stayer that will appreciate a good pace. Lady London could attract support on first start for her new yard.
