C&D winner, gained three AW 5f wins over the winter the last off a 3lb higher mark. Shaped as though he would be better for the run over 6f here on return in softer conditions than he will encounter today, eased in grade back to 5f today.
Took advantage of a slightly lower mark to win at Chepstow (5.1f, good) confirming the promise of previous start last month. Still looked in good form last time at Newcastle 5f, did best of those ridden on the pace); C&D winner who deserves respect.
Fairly useful in her early career (won four times), so far failed to match the form shown when wining in heavy ground over 5f at Chester (May 2019). Failed to come on for recent run last time, down to a workable mark, ground may be too quick.
Sole 3yo in the field who made a poor start to his handicap career at Chelmsford (6f, slow) last time after being highly tried as a 2yo. Eased 3lb and back on to turf (sole win came on good ground), may come on for run, still work to do.
Took advantage of a drop in the weights to score at his favoured venue (Ripon) over 6f off a 4lb lower mark. Predictably not in the same form next time at Catterick (6f, good/firm) finding little after travelling well, unreliable, only 1-29 at 5f.
Caught the eye on both runs this year at 6f/5f although latest start was his first try at the minimum trip. Despite getting placed last time appeared to lack the basic speed at 5f (better back at 6f), can't be ruled out given his current wellbeing.
On a handicapping basis he should be well fancied here but his win/run ratio (3-33) is slightly off-putting. Better than his final position suggests last time (wore first-time cheekpieces) at Sandown (5.1f), raced wide, gives yard fair claims.
Given a stiffer test than when winning at Musselburgh (5f, good) last time having shown promise the time before and fallen below his last winning mark. More needed now back up in grade but has won off higher marks in the past.

Paul Midgley has his sprinters in good form and he has fair prospects of adding to that tally here saddling two that have sound chances. SALUTI looks the pick of the duo having shown promise in both of his runs so far this year and despite the doubts about the trip this is a stiff 5f and his Doncaster third is working extremely well (first and second both winning next time out). War Whisper, the other Midgley runner is an infrequent winner but he can’t be dismissed after his Sandown exploits last time. The eased in grade Watchable will appreciate this return to 5f with C&D winner Peggie Sue likely to play a part along with Primo’s Comet.
