Vocalised filly improved on second start at Limerick when stepped up to 6½f to be 4½L sixth of ten; should be suited again rising in trip but needs to improve a good deal in this field.

Regally bred American Pharaoh filly out of star multiple Group 1 winner Peeping Fawn; fourth in strong looking Curragh maiden (7f, yielding; 10-1) on debut last month and; given connections, no surprise to see her improving on that effort.

Forecasts

Willow (5/4), Talacre (9/4), Nicest (6/1), Lovely Esteem (13/2), Fly Girl (11/1), Simply Incredible (14/1), Verbal Fencing (50/1), Shake The Heart (80/1), Forge Road (125/1), Cala Lady (150/1)

Verdict

It was a strong maiden that WILLOW contested at the Curragh last month and, second choice of the Ballydoyle quartet that day, she finished best of them in fourth having cut out much of the running under Wayne Lordan. That race is working out nicely and this regally-bred American Pharoah filly can step up now to win. Talacre also boasts good form after finishing second on debut while newcomers Lovely Esteem, Nicest, Simply Incredible and Fly Girl must all be monitored when betting opens.
