Plenty of the leading stables are represented in the Yarmouth opener, so the chances are that this probably isn't too bad a race by maiden handicap standards. Swift Verdict made a relatively promising start to his racing career (beaten by stablemate Galsworthy) before bombing out at short odds at Doncaster. He embarks on a retrieval mission for Gosden and Havlin in newly-fitted blinkers. Boss Power cost 375,000gns as a yearling, yet has proved bitterly disappointing thus far, with hopes pinned on the switch to handicapping unlocking needed improvement. However, after taking everything into account, the safest option is Saeed Bin Suroor's cheek-pieced runner MY VISION.
