14-race maiden gives weight away all round. Looks to have a very stiff task on his hands given he has finished last on each of his previous two starts. Returns to maiden company and looks vulnerable to improvers.
Never looked a live threat but did show a bit more from modest debut effort when sixth over 7f at this track on his seasonal debut. Likely to be more competitive when entering handicap company after this.
Impossible to fancy after finishing tailed-off last of nine on debut at Ripon (6f; good to soft) in September. Now makes return from 298-day break and is best watched.
Debutante by Power. Gelded ahead of debut. Yard not well known for producing winning newcomers. However, he is a half-brother to four winners (three of whom won over this trip). Likely he has a future but perhaps one for further down the line.
Comfortably beaten on debut at Leicester (6f; good to firm). Plenty of questions to answer now, but surprise if he wasn't capable of showing a bit more given he is related to plenty of winners. Market check advised.
Finished third behind a 98-rated rival (2nd) and potentially smart winner at Carlisle (6f; good) last week. That form brings her right into this weaker assignment, and it would be a surprise if she were not capable of going close.
Looked to be going the right way in the Autumn of last year. Not been able to progress since then, despite finishing fourth behind the rapidly improving Bal Mal the last twice, it is dangerous to take the form literally.
Quite a notable step up is required on the form she showed when well-held in a pair of novice races on the AW at Newcastle (6f/5f; standard) during the winter. Seasonal debut, and probably more of a handicap project.
0-7 and unlucky to find just one too good on each start this year. Bumped into the improving Sound Of Iona when narrowly denied at Ayr (5f; good) when returned to novice company last week. On the scene once more with yard/jockey combo in good form.
Finished closer than the finishing position would suggest when fifth at Thirsk (6f; good). Drop back to 5f unlikely to pose any problems and she must be considered in this slightly weaker event.

Quite a few in this contest have questions to answer that statement doesn't apply to is NORTHERN CHARM who is turned out exactly seven days on from what was a highly promising debut effort when third behind two smart sorts at Carlisle. On paper at least this seems a weaker race which gives her a golden chance to shed her maiden tag. Despite the fact he is beginning to look exposed, Stars In The Night is a good yardstick given his consistency and he bumped into an improver when only just beaten last week. He looks sure to be on the scene once more. It will be interesting to see how much Unapologetic improves from a likeable debut run when finishing fifth in a heap.
