Does have a 280-day break to overcome but he ended last season a somewhat positive note when third at Kempton (7f; standard to slow) in October. Place claims if able to go well fresh on seasonal reappearance.
0-6 but has definitely got his act together since switched to handicaps with two solid efforts in defeat. Only beaten a neck over C&D most recently, and has major claims off the same mark. Remains unexposed.
Stable in good form and he has more going for him than most. Followed up two solid placed efforts to break his duck at the tenth attempt when winning at Thirsk (6f; good). Never ran over a trip as short as this.
This is already her fifth start of the season. Claims on the form of her runner-up effort at this track at the start of the month. Subsequently failed to back that up on two separate occasions since. Risky.
Modest strike rate (1-19) but this C&D winner did post a solid return to action when third over C&D on Saturday. Connections must feel confident she can reproduce that form given the quick turnaround. In the mix 1lb below last winning mark.
Still chasing elusive first career success after 30 starts. This is his first run for four months, but he wasn't totally disgraced when fifth of nine at Chelmsford (5f; standard) back in March. First run on turf since May 2018.
Sole career success came over this C&D in September 2018. Only hinted at a return to that sort of form on two occasions since then and she has been well-beaten on both starts so far this season. Readily opposed.
Very hard to make a convincing case for given the fact she has ran over a variety of trips recently from 5f up to 1m, without showing any real promise at all. Tailed off on seasonal return to action at Leicester (1m; good to firm).

Gherkin (1/1), Pull Harder Con (4/1), Amberine (5/1), Global Acclamation (8/1), Dreamboat Annie (14/1), Sugar Plum Fairy (14/1), Moongazer (16/1), Bockos Amber (50/1), Stopdworldnletmeof (80/1)
Given she always tends to run well at this track, Amberine must have a chance after posting a rock solid effort on her seasonal reappearance when third over C&D. However, it looks wise to stick with those who are still open to further improvement. One who fits that profile is the progressive Pull Harder Con who gained a breakthrough win at the start of the month. A 5lb rise looks manageable and he should make a bold bid to follow up. The one who is more interesting though is GHERKIN who has improved for the switch to handicap company and can go one better after hitting the crossbar the last twice, including over C&D last time when only narrowly denied.
- Gherkin
- Pull Harder Con
- Amberine
