Useful form in bumpers and novice hurdles last year, ready winner at Huntingdon last November and there are excuses for two lesser efforts after that. First start for new yard tonight, conditions fine and every chance if fit after break.
Took form to a new level when running out an easy winner at Musselburgh in January (20f), after which handicapper gave him another 8lb. Drop back in trip here not certain to suit, but looks progressive and on that, can't be ruled out.
Won two handicaps last summer (including one over C&D) but handicapper had his say after that; less room for manoeuvre now but conditions ideal and he clearly goes well fresh, so another to consider in an open race.
Won a couple of novice/maiden hurdles last year but they were moderate affairs and he didn't really progress much in handicaps after that. However, still hasn't many miles on the clock and yard always respected here, so can't be ruled out.
Won a weak maiden hurdle at Cartmel last summer but didn't repeat that effort in two subsequent starts. Should be fit after three runs on the Flat recently and ought have more to offer over hurdles this year.
Has first run for new yard (same connections as Book Of Invasions, also having first start for them), but has been on the downgrade for much of last season and now needs to recapture earlier good novice form. Best watched tonight.
Won a big-field Punchestown handicap last December but has changed hands a couple of times since then, first start for new yard tonight. On a very fair mark if he can recapture best form, and with condiitons fine here, is worth a second look.

This looks wide open. Highway Companion is open to plenty more improvement this term and looks a danger to all if fit, but may require a step back up in trip to be seen to best effect. Purple King will have his supporters for a yard that do well here but maybe it's worth chancing CEDAR HILL on debut for his new yard. He looked useful when scoring at Punchestown last year and maybe his new trainer can find the key to him. Golden Town has no secrets from the handicapper but goes well fresh, and could be each-way value.
