Seven-race maiden in the NH disciplines, the Beneficial gelding is very lightly raced for his age. Beaten over hurdles when last seen in September but very much a leading player given previous form over fences.
Well beaten over 70L on the Flat in a couple of races since September, the gelding won over hurdles in October landing a 16-runner contest at Punchestown. Could go well on chasing debut.

Down Royal maiden hurdle winner in June last year over a similar trip. Likely to improve on encouraging first start over fences at Killarney earlier this month.

Drifted in the betting on return to action in a Tipperary Grade 3 hurdle on seasonal debut last month. Market likely to be the best guide on chasing debut.

Has shown promise over fences, including on handicap bow at Sligo over 2m1f on good to yielding ground in September. Well held in a couple of starts since - despite finishing positions. Could improve if jumping fluently.

Lightly raced 132-rated handicap hurdler. Not seen since April last year and market likely to be the best guide for connections expectations on chasing debut.
120-rated handicap hurdler, the gelding by Milan has been well beaten in a couple starts over timber when last seen in February/April. Entitled to need the run on first start over fences.

Winner of three of his 17 career starts over hurdles, including a couple of victories coming in June/July last year. Worth a check in the market on chasing introduction.
9

Pulled up in both his maiden point-to-points starts, has offered very little in two hurdles starts between July and September last term. Best avoided on first start over the larger obstacles.

Distance winner over hurdles at Bellewstown 12 months ago. Could have had a pipe opener over timber earlier this month and one to keep safe on return over fences.

33/1
Winner of a couple of starts over hurdles in September/October 2018. Not seen on track since November that year. One to note in the market for patient connections.
12
Horse silk
100/1
Nothing of note in a number of starts over the larger obstacles since November. Best days probably further down the road given connections.
13
Horse silk
50/1
Solid 125-rated handicap hurdler but too many mistakes on both starts over fences at Tipperary and Kilbeggan earlier this month to be considered here.

200/1
Arakan gelding out of a Bob's Return mare. Related to Coologue who produced a number of decent efforts over hurdles/fences. Nearer last than first on rules debut over hurdles at Bellewstown earlier this month and easy to oppose on first chase start.

Forecasts

Davids Charm (5/4), Benruben (4/1), Konitho (7/1), Convara (15/2), Conron (8/1), Global Jackpot (12/1), Lighthouse Warrier (16/1), Pass Hymn (25/1), Ming Dynasty (28/1), Percy Veer (33/1), Time For Mabel (50/1), Shannon Tide (100/1), Toast To Thomas (200/1), Onenightintown (200/1)

Verdict

A repeat of the form over hurdles this time last year can see DAVID'S CHARM produce a bold bid on debut over the larger obstacles. The 150-rated Grade 3 winning hurdler can hold off the attentions of his closest pursuers in the shape of Benruben on debut for trainer Henry De Bromhead and Conron on his first start over fences for trainer Jessica Harrington. The lightly raced gelding Konitho for trainer Joseph O'Brien and owner J P McManus is worth a check in the market on return to action following 446 days on the sidelines.
  1. Davids Charm
  2. Benruben
  3. Conron
