Sole win came on debut at Roscommon (1m2f) last August and not figured in two starts since. Well-held last of seven in Leopardstown Listed contest (1m4f) last month and has tough task in front of her.

Dundalk handicap winner last term before holding her own in Listed company. Not beaten far into sixth in Cork Group 3 (7f) a week ago but this will require another step up to win.

Dual handicap winner between 1m1f and 1m2f last term. Had been well-held since before good third in 1m2f Navan handicap in July behind smart sort. May be finding her best form once again so not to be discounted.

Placed at hefty prices in a couple of Listed/Group race contests including twice this season, the latest being 1L second in Group 3 Munster Oaks two weeks ago. Each-way appeal if replicating that effort once more.

Much improved sort who has won her last three starts. Game winner of Naas Group 3 (1m) in March before impressive 2L Listed winner at Gowran (1m1f) last time. This is the logical step up. Claims.

Regally-bred sort being related to dual Guineas winner Winter. Made most significant progress to date when 1L winner of Killarney Listed contest (1m) six days ago. Quick turnaround but may be on an upward curve now.

Very progressive despite only racing four times and ran career-best when game winner of Leopardstown Group 3 (1m2f) in June. Form has been boosted since so has to be taken seriously. Sets the standard.

Unexposed sort. Made impressive winning debut at Leopardstown (7f) last August and returned with creditable third in 1m Group 3 at that venue earlier this month. Every chance she can step forward again.

Forecasts

One Voice (6/4), Lemista (3/1), Lovelier (4/1), Ridenza (11/2), Snapraeceps (14/1), Kiss For A Jewel (22/1), Crotchet (28/1), Cerro Bayo (50/1)

Verdict

It is likely to be an under-par renewal of this race given the circumstances, but it makes it a good opportunity for ONE VOICE to continue her upward progression. She was an authoritative winner in group company last time out, beating subsequent Group 3 winner Snow in the process. That form is strong and puts her a class above some of her rivals. Lemista is also placed in a similar bracket and excelled her profile when defying a penalty in a Listed contest last time, while the likes of Lovelier and Ridenza remain unexposed in this type of company and could be anything, and their pedigree suggests they could still turn out to be very smart prospects in time.
