Newcomer, 100,000gns foal, half-sister to smart 5f (including as a juvenile) winner Shades Of Blue, dam unraced. Yard 0-24 with 2yo debutants here over past five years, going well with 2yo's overall this year, 9-31 (8-27 on turf).
Made an unpromising start to her career at Goodwood (5f, good/firm) and despite showing a little more last time she still didn't impress. Unlikely to trouble the principals in this based on her two outings so far.
Yard 3-47 with 2yo newcomers this year (not generally as forward as they used to be); first foal, €76,000 foal, €75,000 yearling. Dam 7f-1m winner (including at two), best guidance may come via the market.
Stable 2-2 with juveniles this year (1-15 with debutants here last five years), newcomer, half-sister to several winners, dam 5f-6f winner. Has to be of interest given the yard's targeted approach to juveniles currently, one for the shortlist.
120,000gns Craven Breeze-Up purchase late last month, makes her debut here. Half-sister to four winners up to 6f including New Providence and Ekhtiyaar, yard 4-12 with newcomers this year so has to be of some interest.
Kingman filly, fourth foal, half-sister to 1m5f/1m6f AW winner Houlton, dam 8.4f 2yo winner. First 2yo runner of the season for the yard who are 0-30 with first-time out juveniles over the last five years, best watched on this occasion.
Cheap yearling (1,500gns) with a better pedigree than that price would suggest, came out best of the newcomers on debut over C&D (form yet to be tested). Needed the experience, given plenty to do, no surprise to see her step forward here.
Yard have a modest record with 2yo newcomers, £3,500 yearling, second foal, dam sprint maiden sister to smart winner up to 1m Fareer. Hard to see her making an impression in a race of this depth.
Bred to be a sharp sort she's so far shown very little in two starts offering little on debut at Doncaster (5f, good) when slow away. Still inexperienced when last seen over C&D, always behind, hard to see her making an impact.
The most experienced in the field having already had three runs and looks one of the stable lesser lights. Ran her best race last time over 7f on AW/Kempton but still looks nothing out of the ordinary with cheekpieces added first-time.
Hinted at ability on her debut over 6f at Lingfield on quick ground and likely to be sharper for the experience (not given a hard time once held). This looks a race with some depth, may need to find calmer waters to be of interest.
First 2yo runner of the season (yard not known for their juveniles, 1-19 with newcomers last five years). First foal, dam tough 5f-6f winner, hard to think she would be up to winning this first-time out.
One of two runners from this yard although like her stablemate she looks outclassed in this. Both outings so far can only be classed as poor, ran too keenly over C&D last time, of limited interest.
One of eight newcomers her fledgling yard are 1-5 with 2yo debutants this year. Half-sister to numerous winners including useful winner up to 1m Whazzis (2yo 7f winner), dam lightly-raced, not dismissed if the market speaks for her chance.

None of those with experience look to be anything out of the ordinary although Sarsaparilla (now with cheekpieces on) has posted some fair numbers so far, however, there look to be some decent newcomers amongst the octet who make their debuts. The Stoute yard are 2-2 with 2yo’s this year so their Muhaarar filly Isla Vista has to be of interest with any market vibes for the likes of Fly Miss Helen and Whatitizz worth noting. The record of Clive Cox with 2yo’s this year brings Deise Blue into the equation but JACINTH is the selection with her sire New Bay having made a good start to his stallion career. A 120,000gns breeze-up purchase her pedigree suggests she’ll be sharp enough for this.
