Multiple winner at 7f-1m, including here on soft ground over the former distance last September in conditions company. Followed up when just 1lb lower at Doncaster (1m) and whatever beats him probably won't be far away.
Dual C&D winner, the first of them on good to soft and then he did so again last time on good ground, when he showed a good attitude to win decisively. Up 6lb and in a better race, so more needed, but he is afforded plenty of respect.
Dual hurdles winner who is 5-18 in this code, all those wins coming at around 1m, including over C&D on soft. 1lb higher than his last success, but recent efforts less encouraging, so there's a bit for him to prove now.
Put four wins together between October 2018 and March 2019, all over 1m/AW. Had gone close on turf (good) on debut prior to that. Gelded since last seen 16-months ago and well treated on his return based on his best effort. Interesting.
Triple soft ground winner over 1m-1m2f, including in a class 3 here last time. 4lb rise for that is far from excessive and suggests that he may still be ahead of the handicapper. Should be heavily involved.
Multiple AW winner at up to 1m1½f. Has only raced five times on turf and did go close at Newmarket in one of them. However, well held in two starts when last seen in February, and others make greater appeal.
Races over his optimum trip and has won on soft ground. Bounced right back to form when dead-heating for first at Hamilton recently, but subsequently disqualified for weighing in light. 1lb higher and more needed in this field.
Prolific AW winner who is 1-28 on turf. Sole win on this surface did come on soft ground (7½f, Lingfield) last year, when 1lb lower, but not easy to see him winning in this line-up.
C&D winner (good to firm) in 2018 and proved himself at this level in two wins at Ayr last summer. 2lb higher than the better of those here, and not always easy to predict. Not ruled out if on a 'going' day.
Has some good form here including a C&D win, but is without success since April 2016 and there was absolutely no encouragement in either of his recent runs after a lengthy absence.
1-22 on turf compared to 2-3 on AW surfaces. Won at Newcastle (1m, AW) last month, and produced a similar effort to be 2L third after a 3lb rise at Redcar last time. Same mark here, but that turf record is a concern.
Has made a fine start to his career, winning a Wolverhampton maiden (1m½f, AW) on debut before following up under a penalty at Ripon (1m, good to soft) 10-days later. Initial mark needs another step up, but that could be possible.

A good race in prospect here. Streak Lightning may yet look thrown in and of course merits plenty of respect after winning both starts so far, but he will need more against some seasoned handicappers here. He should go well, but preference is for JAHBATH, who looks well treated on his return from an absence for a trainer who usually has his runners ready after a break. Alternative Fact looks a big player too, while Qaysar and Cap Francais are not ruled out.
