Massively improved on the AW winning four and runner-up twice in last six runs. The problem is his two career runs on turf have been nowhere near that level so has to prove he can do it on this surface.
Back on last winning mark of a year ago at Epsom. Should come on for Sandown reappearance and not ruled out of it though some of his rivals may have more potential.
Sole turf win was gained at this track last year and has shown form in other runs. Not quite at his best this term but return to this venue may bring about some improvement.
After a fine spell on the AW he showed he can still do it on turf with a creditable second at Doncaster last time. The third home won this week to give the form a boost and has solid claims.
Sole success was at Chepstow a year ago but has failed to add to that tally though reached the frame for the eighth time since there last week. Seems genuine enough but just needs to eke out some improvement.

Forecasts
Hammy End (7/4), Singing The Blues (5/2), Songkran (3/1), Foresee (10/3), Bayston Hill (13/2), Nabhan (9/1), Charlie Arthur (9/1)
SONGKRAN has been in scintillating form this month and if he comes here after Chepstow win he is hard to oppose in his current mood despite the longer trip. Foresee seems the obvious beneficiary if this comes too soon with the consistent Hammy End likely to hit the frame again.
