103-rated handicap hurdler won over fences here in March; beaten more than 16L over 1m4f in a maiden here recently as a 40-1 chance. Unlikely player down in trip.

Improved on third Flat star at Galway (7f, soft to heavy; 14-1) back in the autumn but even that comes up short of what is required. Poor on hurdles bow at Gowran Park in March.

Equiano gelding out of a Pyramus mare. Half-brother to Hannagh's Turn, winner between 5f/6f; sent off 100-1 on debut at Roscommon (7f, good to firm) and never looked likely to outrun the odds.

Tailed off on debut at Roscommon (1m2f, heavy; 125-1) earlier this month. Massive step forward needed on that evidence.

Son of unfashionable sire Fountain Of Youth; hasn't beaten anything home in two starts at Navan (5½f, good to firm) and Tipperary (7½f, yielding) either side of a winter layoff.

Brother to smart 5f/6f winner Leo Minor (inc 2yo); dam 1m2f (Listed) winner, sister to 2m winner Giant Redwood, closely related to Derby winner Pour Moi and 1m/1m2½f Group 3 winner Gagnoa. Hails from top yard and one to note. Tongue-tied.

Well fended off in pair of 1m4f Fairyhouse maidens so far and needs to take a sizeable step forward on that evidence. Too soon to write him off however.

Third on reappearance/second start at Roscommon (1m2f, heavy; 9-2) this month and may have a big run in him down in trip on forecast better ground.

Pair of wide-margin defeats over this trip at the Curragh under his belt and makes no appeal on the strength of those efforts. Best watched for now.

Tailed off on debut at Navan (5½f, soft; 50-1) back in October on debut; off since and can only be watched for the moment.

Son of Muhaarar is a half-brother to multiple winners; has shaped with some promise in sprint maidens at Naas and Bellewstown either side of 256-day absence and there may well be more to come upped in distance.

Filly has gone off three-figure prices in maidens at Fairyhouse and Cork over 1m2f (both good) so far and failed to muster any challenge. Likely booked for minor role again down in trip.

Well held in pair of Curragh maidens over this trip so far; needs to improve generously and potentially going to be seen to better effect once handicapping.

Verdict

Call Me Rocky can get involved coming down in distance after a pleasing third at Roscommon on reappearance recently but, going the other way in trip, this may fall to THALEEQ for Dermot Weld. He shaped nicely in a couple of sprint maidens either side of the winter and should have plenty more to offer going up in distance at a venue where the Roswell House trainer traditionally does well. Newcomer Big White Chief is worth a look while Calavera may produce some improvement.
