Dual turf winner on soft ground (5f/6f) in 2017, but has managed just one AW win (7f) since then. Not seen since January, and has had wind surgery in the meantime. If that helps then she could be competitive from this mark, but has that to prove.
Dual AW winner who has yet to make the frame in three attempts on turf. Trip no problem, and if he is able to transfer his AW form to turf, this would be a handy mark.
Dual AW winner over 7f at Chelmsford last year. Not seen since November. 0-4 on turf, where so far he hasn't managed to threaten the principals. Others preferred.
Prolific winner, three of which have come over this C&D on going from soft to good to firm. 8lb lower than the most recent of those, in 2018. Hasn't run up to that level in 2019 or 2020, but is being given a chance by the handicapper. Considered.
Multiple AW winner who has also scored twice on turf (7f, good/1m2f, good to firm, the latter at this track). 7lb lower than that course win last season, but has been competitive from this mark on AW recently. Not ruled out.
15-race maiden under both codes. Placed three times on the AW from 6f-1m. 0-2 on turf, but a reproduction of either of those runs would probably give her a squeak from this mark. However, hard to be confident she will do that.
Four-time AW winner (all at Newcastle over 6f-1m), but hasn't scored since 2017. Turf record (0-22) is even less encouraging, though he was a ½L third over C&D from this mark last month, so can't write him off given that.
Not devoid of promise on his first two starts last year, but has been beaten a long way in all three runs since, the last two in handicaps. Slipping to a more feasible mark now, but still plenty to prove.
Well held in all four juvenile starts over 6f/7f. Returned to action with a more promising effort when getting up late to be ½L second over 5f (good to soft) at Catterick. Same mark today and should be a contender.
10-race maiden who has been runner-up in a fillies' maiden (7f, good) when trained in Ireland, and began well for this trainer when also second in a Yarmouth handicap (7f, good to firm) last month. Well held on AW latest, but can't rule her out.
Well held in all three starts so far, when showing little in the way of promise. This initial mark looks stiff based purely on what we have seen from her.
Looked to be heading the right way when 9L third against novices at Epsom (7f, good) last September, but hasn't been quite as good since. Was 2L sixth in a Chelmsford handicap (7f, AW) last month, but more needed from just 1lb lower.
Took a step in the right direction on his reappearance in a Wolverhampton maiden (7f, AW) last month, though wouldn't want to exaggerate that point. Well held on his handicap debut since then. 2lb lower, and now tongue-tied, but more needed.
Well held in all three starts so far (all on AW) over 5f/6f, and has yet to show any real promise. Initial mark looks stiff based purely on that form, but stable's runners often improve when entering handicaps, so check the market for clues.
Took a step in the right direction when entering nurseries at Kempton (6f, AW) last November, but has not been able to kick on from there. Out of the handicap and much more needed.

Forecasts
Lippy Lady (3/1), Champagne Bob (4/1), Deftera Lad (7/1), Rock Warbler (9/1), Princess Mayson (10/1), Holy Tiber (11/1), False Id (11/1), Miaella (11/1), Pure Purfection (12/1), Creek Harbour (14/1), Farewell Kiss (18/1), Mochalov (18/1), Oasis Song (20/1), Dreamboat Girl (22/1), Quick Monet (33/1), Vintage Port (33/1), Along Comes Mary (40/1), Billy Button (80/1)
Moderate fayre where caution is advised. Farewell Kiss ran well at Catterick last time and probably has a race like this in her, while Princess Mayson could also go close if shrugging off a lack lustre effort. Deftera Lad, Lippy Lady and False Id are others for whom cases can be made, but the suggestion is CHAMPAGNE BOB, who is being given a chance by the handicapper and may now be good enough to take it.
- Champagne Bob
- Farewell Kiss
- Lippy Lady
