Well beaten on debut (6f) but showed more when dropped back to this trip at Musselburgh last time. This is another tough assignment, however, and he looks one to watch with handicaps in mind.
Has been showing some ability in three starts, coming closest to winning in the second of them at Thirsk (6f, good) last month. Scuppered his chance when slowly away at Haydock (5f. soft) last time, but should be a contender.
Gelded son of Kyllachy. 18-1 drifter on debut here (6f, good to soft) last month, when he led 2f out and was eventually beaten just 1L, in a promising performance. With improvement probable, he can again go very close now back in trip.
Was kept to just one juvenile start, when well held at Doncaster (7½f, soft). Never really involved on his reappearance at Kempton (6f, AW) last month. Tongue-tie goes on, but can only watch at present.
Last of nine and beaten a distance on her sole run as a juvenile. Raced prominently for some time on her reappearance at Newmarket (6f, good) last month, before being beaten 12½L. Needs a big improvement on that.
This looks very likely to pay between Blazing Hot, who has had three chances already, and MUSICALITY, and the less exposed Roger Varian-trained gelding gets the vote. Pilgrims Pursuit can probably be next home.
