Impressive 8½L winner of a handicap chase over 2m5f at Newton Abbot (good) last week. Carries a 7lb penalty for that victory and looks likely to prove hard to beat with the trip and forecast underfoot conditions both in his favour.
Still held claims when unseating rider three out in a novices' handicap chase over an extended 2m4f at Southwell (good) on his return to action at the start of this month. Interesting racing off the same mark in this contest.
Point-to-point winner ran well when finishing 3L second in a 2m5f novices' handicap chase at Newton Abbot (good) in May last year. Absent and has had wind surgery since finishing 15L fifth upped to an extended 2m6f at Stratford just over a year ago.
Maiden after six starts and finished well beaten off a 5lb higher mark in a heavy ground 2m handicap hurdle on stable debut here in December. Market support would be notable on his debut over fences.
Followed up a 2m4f handicap hurdle success at Sedgefield (soft) with a decent third over the same C&D in January. Returns to chasing racing off a mark 3lb higher than for that Sedgefield triumph.
Best effort in four starts under Rules came when finishing 17½L third in a novices' handicap event on chase debut at Musselburgh (soft) in February. Remains open to improvement racing off a 2lb lower mark in this contest.
Failed to finish on final two starts for this yard in 2017 but has won in the point-to-point field over 2m4f on good ground since. Blinkers worn for the first time on Rules return following over two years off the track.
Ten race maiden placed twice over hurdles last season including when 5½L second over 2m4f at Sedgefield (soft) in February. Appeared not to stay 3m1f last time and he is an interesting runner on debut over fences.
Point-to-point winner in May 2018 but has failed to finish on his last three starts over hurdles Tongue tie tried for the first time racing from out of the handicap on chase and handicap debut having had wind surgery since his most recent start.
Good ground point-to-point winner has struggled since switched to Rules racing including when 29L 14th over 2m3f in a handicap hurdle at Taunton (soft) in February. Others make more appeal racing from out of the weights on chase debut.

Forecasts
Oxwich Bay (7/2), Arthur's Sixpence (4/1), Anywayyoulookatit (9/2), Go As You Please (5/1), Destiny Is All (8/1), Cawthorne (17/2), Zen Master (16/1), Asking A Lot (16/1), See Forever (16/1), Honourmission (18/1), Speronimo (33/1)
OXWICH BAY impressed when winning last time out and under a 7lb penalty he is effectively 3lb well in given he has to race off a mark of 112 for all future chase engagements. The selection has the trip and forecast going in his favour and he can get the better of his rivals with Arthur's Sixpence capable of taking second spot on his first start since wind surgery. Third place can go to Zen Master who was running well prior to unseating last time out.
