Typically runs to his mark including this season when head second in 6f Windsor handicap in June. Not the most game in a finish but top claimer brings inflated mark down. Solid contender.
Ran with credit in four starts since last victory, but took a slightly backward step when 5L fourth at Newmarket (6f) last month. Usually better with cut in the ground so notable if any rains arrives.
Unexposed type. Improved with each start to date culminating with 1L win in 6f Leicester maiden after heavy absence. Could be anything at this level and one for the shortlist on handicap debut.
Landed a trio of AW wins on the bounce during the winter and largely consistent since. Failed to fire when well-supported favourite at Bath (5f) last time and needs slightly more off career-high mark.
Hasn't landed a contest since his maiden victory and dropped markedly in the weights in two handicap starts. 3lb lighter for recent ninth at Newmarket (5f) and trainer/jockey combination has landed similar races with these sorts already this term.
Remains onto last winning mark. Shaped more encouragingly but still beaten 7L into third in 6f Salisbury handicap on Saturday. Quickly turned out but place claims if replicating that.
Newbury handicap winner (6f) last term ad started this season well with neck defeat before poor 5L seventh at that track last time. Mini-bounce back needed off current mark.
Has figured out to be an out and out sprinter recently and bounced back from poor return with 1L victory at Leicester (6f) late last month. Up 6lb however so handicapper isn't taking any chances.
Game winner of 6f Newbury handicap last month but not as good off 3lb mark next time at Kempton (6f) however. Gets no respite in the weights and may find this slightly tough.
Had been racing with promise this term and rewarded for that with game victory in 5f Wolverhampton handicap 12 days ago. Up 5lb for that however and form isn't as usually as good over 6f.

Once more, plenty are within a shout in this closely-matched handicap and it could be worth taking a chance with SPIRITED GUEST to get his head back in front. While he isn't the most game in the finish sometimes, he continues to uphold his form, and with top apprentice Cieren Fallon using his valuable claim, his handicap mark doesn't look as inflated as originally feared. The most taking profile in the race is Aristocratic Lady, who is unknown at this level and has the scope to be smart prospect, while the likes of Queen Of Burgundy and Colonel Frank have got credit in their form at this level, including the former who usually runs his race at this track for a local trainer.
