Winner of a weak Ffos Las maiden last summer (7½f, good to firm) but has mostly been going the wrong way in five subsequent starts; finished last of 16 on seasonal reappearance run at Naas and only slightly improved on that last time at Leopardstown
Got off to a fine start to life in handicaps but not progressed from breakthrough victory in this race last year; still 6lb above last winning mark but ran above expectation last time at Leopardstown and could be worth another chance.
Won a 1m handicap at Gowran Park a year ago, but below form in five runs since; could be well treated if rediscovering his form but has questions to answer.
Back down to his last winning mark but doesn't look anywhere near ready enough to take advantage of that given how poorly he has been running recently since switching yards.
Eight-race maiden; not the most consistent evidenced by fair run at Roscommon on seasonal reappearance then poor performance last time at Navan; difficult to know what to expect.
Can race 2lb lower than when winning at handicap at Gowran Park last October and showed he still retained ability with fair recent effort at that track last week; one to consider.
Can be in and out but good on his day. Respectable effort when third of 12 at Roscommon (1m2f, yielding) on latest start but up 2lb for that. Handicapper taking no sort of chances but has claims.
Off the mark at the 15th time of asking for connections when landing a Curragh 7f handicap on soft ground off an 8lb lower mark in October; toiled somewhat only start off revised mark and this looks tough on seasonal reappearance.
Has been knocking on the door in last two racecourse appearances at Leopardstown and Limerick; handicap mark has dropped a couple more pounds and has reasonable chance given quality of opposition.
Won this contest in 2018 off the same mark; a string of poor efforts does not suggest he will be capable of following up and races here from out of the handicap.
Has shown some ability, but seems to be going the wrong way; slipping quickly down the weights, but still makes minimal appeal on first run since this time last year.
Reserve 1 stable-hopping mare who looks an unlikely winner on all known form if making the line-up.

HAVANA BREEZE finished runner up last season in this contest and given she can now race off a 4lb lower mark she is taken to break her maiden tag at the 15th time of asking on turf. The mare has put in two very reasonable performances this season to date and although sometimes not the easiest of rides, looks to have an excellent chance. Sharp Focus won this race last season and is another who has been in fair form of late and is quickly turned out after running a good race at Leopardstown at the weekend. Scorpion Black showed he still retains ability on a recent run and now looks temptingly handicapped.
