Claims on the form of either of his wins at Chelmsford or Wolverhampton at the start of the year. However, he only beat one rival when posting a quiet effort at Newcastle (5f; standard) in March and is 0-14 on the turf.
Just held at Pontefract (6f; good) last week which was by far his best effort for some time. 4lb below last winning mark and while each of his last five wins have came at Pontefract he has to be greatly feared if in similar form.
Could be well-treated back below last winning mark but he has failed to show anything on both starts this season (well-beaten on each occasion), so a return to form looks unlikely. Never won over 6f either, so can be ruled out for the time being.
Posted best effort for some time when third at Haydock (7f; good) last time out on first turf run for a year. Runner-up has franked the form since and he is off the same mark in this contest so has to be strongly considered.
Back down to his last winning mark which came over the minimum trip at Beverley (5f; good to firm) nearly a year ago. Never scored over 6f or won fresh so is probably best watched on this return to action.
Hasn't shown any considerable ability in four starts to date. Behind Champagne Angel on handicap debut recently, and this drop in trip to 6f will need to work wonders if he is to feature. Yard in-form but others have more going for them.
Tries 6f for the first time after running better than the finishing position would suggest on handicap debut at Catterick (7f; good to soft). 2lb lower mark and lightly raced profile gives her definite claims in what looks an open race on paper.
15-race maiden and was too keen for her own good in a low-grade affair at Wolverhampton (7f; standard) on her seasonal reappearance when sixth of eight at the start of the month. Ended 2019 in poor form too so has a fair bit to prove.
Has failed to get involved on both turf starts but they were both in maidens so may be worth another chance given this is a handicap. Offered more encouragement when making debut over this trip at Southwell (6f; standard) in March. Place claims.
0-6. Well-supported (11/2) when failing to justify market strength at Wolverhampton (6f; standard) in March. Has quite a bit to prove off the back of that and this is his turf debut. Still has potential but others do look more solid.

Harry's Ridge (11/8), Round The Island (7/4), Kodimoor (11/1), Jorvik Prince (14/1), Twin Paradox (16/1), Champagne Angel (20/1), Wicklow Warrior (22/1), Tigerinmytank (25/1), Chocolaat Heer (33/1), Oriental Splendour (40/1), Inn With The Gin (50/1)
After producing a few quiet efforts of late it was interesting to see Round The Island post a much improved performance when runner-up at Pontefract just seven days ago. If he can reproduce that form this one-time C&D winner could be well-handicapped off his current mark. Meanwhile, Wicklow Warrior is worth another chance on turf after he ran well back from a similar break at Southwell in March which was probably a career best. This contest can go the way of HARRY'S RIDGE though who is one of the more lightly raced sorts and went close at Haydock recently. The front two have advertised the form well since and perhaps he can shed his maiden tag at the ninth attempt.
- Harry's Ridge
- Round The Island
- Wicklow Warrior
