Motivator gelding stepping up in trip for this handicap debut. More needed than he's shown so far at a mile but the extra 2f may help his cause.

Hinted at ability in three starts at up to extended 1m last season and has run creditably in two runs this term in 1m4f h'caps, fading final furlong. Drop back in trip looks right and has a sporting chance.

10-race maiden who has shown little in four turf runs but placed four times on AW at up to this trip. Surface concerns mean others make rather more appeal.

Showed little on first two outings but led until headed 2 out before fading into fourth in Leicester 1m2f maiden last time. First run in a handicap but may find a few too good.

Disappointing in three runs last season and subsequently gelded. Looked different proposition on first start since when very close second to Soramond on handicap bow at Leicester. Has 1lb pull for a short-head so won't be far away.

Fair fifth over 7f last season but didn't run well either side of that and was gelded during the winter. Faded tamely and well beaten on handicap bow at Wolverhampton over extended 1m and makes little appeal.

Three-figure odds all three starts but didn't do too badly last time in 1m maiden here last month finishing seventh of 9, beaten less than 8 lengths. Up in trip and not a complete no-hoper.

Half-brother to stable's Group 3 1m2f winner Indian Blessing but hasn't shown much in three starts so far in maiden and novice events at up to 1m. Longer trip may help on handicap bow but has a bit to prove on what we've seen to date.

Kept on well to break his duck penultimate outing at 33/1 in 1m Lingfield h'cap. Beaten a long way back on turf at Doncaster last time and not certain extra quarter mile will help the cause.

Mukhadram gelding who showed little of note in first three runs but did much better on handicap bow at Leicester last month when fifth over this trip. Will have benefitted from that outing and may not be far away off 2lb lower.

Slow away but came home well over mile when fourth to Dover Lights last month. Finished last of 11 last time trying this trip offering little encouragement that he'll thrive at 1m2f once again.

Promising second over 7f on debut at Chelmsford in October 2019 for Richard Spencer but has run poorly all four starts for current handler including at Kempton 7f last month. Steps up 3f and eased 4lb but is very hard to fancy.

Eight-race maiden who has offered little encouragement in two runs back from the enforced break and looks to face a stiff task after being beaten a long way over C&D last time off 4lb higher.

Verdict

Plenty of dead wood in this finale and it wouldn't surprise to see a good few of these going hurdling before too long. Soramond just got the better of Tiger Zone at Leicester last time and they're handicapped to dead-heat this time. They should be in the thick of the action but MOLINARI showed a bt of dash until fading last twice over 1m4f and the drop back to this trip could be tailormade. He looks to have as good a chance as any. Derek Le Grand may prove his biggest danger have run well when fifth on his seasonal return and off a 2lb lower mark comes into the reckoning. Mr Nutherputt is another worthy of some consideration.
