A winner on the AW as recently as 2019; lightly raced on the Flat since but poor recent run at Sligo hardly suggests he will make a noisy resumption to his chase career.
Unplaced in 10 racecourse appearances to date in bumpers and over hurdles; will possibly be more suited to chasing but difficult to make a case for.
Solid 140-rated handicap hurdler; fair effort on chase debut at Tipperary earlier this month; can progress and one of the more obvious candidates.
Grade 1 winning novice hurdler but has yet to translate that form to chasing from three attempts; certainly has class and a decent engine but hard to back with confidence on racecourse form over fences.
Another who has useful form over hurdles; did not run a bad race on chase debut at Thurles in March and worth consideration here as he is likely to improve.
Only prize money came when placed in a point-to-point meeting in 2018; has been disappointing over hurdles but it would be no surprise if better suited by chasing.
Struggled to win races over hurdles but was generally consistent and if able to translate that to fences then he has more than a reasonable chance of going well.
Had been placed twice over fences from three runs before being pulled up last time at Navan in January; has ability but needs to bounce back from that run.
Has hit the frame on a couple of occasions from 14 point-to-point starts before a desperate effort in a Thurles hunter chase when last seen in February. Looks easy to oppose.

Doctor Duffy (8/15), Braid Blue (6/4), Macgiloney (9/2), Stacks Mountain (6/1), The White Volcano (13/2), Dortmund Park (10/1), All's Quiet (33/1), Not So Simple (33/1), Avec Espoir (150/1), Lady Violet (150/1)
Some top class hurdlers on show in the chase contest and a slight preference is given to BRAID BLUE who won four races last year and was a runner-up in a decent novice event at Cheltenham. Only downside is that he has not been seen since October last year (though only missed a Cheltenham Festival engagement because of the soft ground). Doctor Duffy was another decent hurdler and he has the advantage of a run over fences under his belt. He needs to improve. Dortmund Park was yet another great hurdler but has not shined in three chase outings so far. Perhaps recent wind surgery will have helped.
