Modest sort although there was promise in his penultimate outing (would have gone close but for meeting trouble) at Chepstow (6.1f, good). Failed to shine in a similar scenario at Windsor last time, can't be totally ruled out off this mark.
Cheekpieces on (first-time) in a bid to recapture her Beverley form soon after racing resumed (good effort over 5f). Failed to live up to that performance at Redcar (6f, good/firm) last time (well supported), may be worth one last chance.
A career-record that reads 1-34 on the Flat makes it hard to deliver any more excuses for him. May well have needed the run last time on stable debut but given his past misdemeanours it's hard to build a really solid case for him, best watched.
Dual course winner over 5f in the past, all of his five wins since have come at Newcastle, the latest a pair of modest 6f back-to-back handicaps earlier this year. Easy to back over C&D last time off a break, may be better on AW these days.
Predicting his going days is always complex; returned to winning ways at Hamilton (6f, good/firm) last month off a 5lb lower mark (third C&D win of career). Ran with credit over this C&D last time, chance if he can put another positive run together.
Still a maiden after 13 starts hardly showing any progression since his move from Ireland when trained by Ger Lyons. Looking to be seriously losing his way of late, last in an AW claimer last time out over 7.2f, hard to see any appeal back at 6f.
Only career/Irish win came on his solitary start for Adrian Joyce off a basement mark over 7.2f at Roscommon last June. Failed to fire straight after for Thomas Cleary over a variety of trips, stable/GB debut may rejuvenate, market watch advised.
One of three maidens in the race (0-13) her form overall is limited/modest. Ran with relative credit at Hamilton (5f, good/soft) last time behind Shesadabber (runs 12.05 here), even a repeat of that would still leave her something to find.

Forecasts
Northern Queen (11/4), Talk Now (16/5), Dodgy Bob (16/5), Red Bravo (4/1), Amelia R (10/1), Star Cracker (12/1), Burmese Blazer (16/1), Laoise (25/1), De Latour (50/1)
Solid profiles in this basement handicap are hard to find which makes it an unappealing medium for betting. Red Bravo despite his moribund race last time has a little more class than some of these and would be a danger if he came back to his Chepstow form. Similarly Northern Queen would hold out hopes on the basis of her penultimate start; now relies on first-time headgear to work the oracle. Talk Now is worth monitoring in the market for his debut on these shores having joined the Jardine yard who are good at refreshing these types. DODGY BOB isn’t the most solid of citizens but he and his yard are in fair form at the moment and he’s taken to regain winning on the back of two good efforts.
- Dodgy Bob
- Red Bravo
- Northern Queen
