Showed promise first run back/stable debut (well supported) at Beverley (5f, good/firm). Interest sparked by that outing saw him start favourite at Hamilton (5f, good/firm), shaped well (spoilt chance with slow start), beaten ½L by Shesadabber.
Caught fire for this yard (after a stable switch), 66-1 when beating Pavers Pride at Hamilton (5f, good/firm) the followed up under a 5lb penalty (1lb well-in), same C&D. Hat-trick bid comes off 5lb higher mark, 6lb worse off with Pavers Pride.
Finally took advantage of a plummeting mark (first-time cheekpieces) over C&D a week ago. Nudged out for a cosy success, interesting from a handicapping angle (rated higher in past), however, there are question marks about him being in the same form.
One of three last time out winners in the field, showed improved form back on turf at Hamilton (5f, good/soft). Took a while to get going last time (finished off well), could be better suited by 6f than the sharp 5f, edged up 2lb in the weights.
Failed to improve on turf/handicap debut (first-time eyeshields) after four months off at Leicester (5f, firm) last time, was made 2-1 favourite. Still relatively unexposed but does run into some in-form types for the grade, progress needed.
Modest sprinting maiden (0-12) may well have needed the run last time but failed to offer any real promise for the future over 5f at Musselburgh. Formerly with Richard Hannon she's yet to show any spark for this establishment.
Just in front of Beignet when reappearing at Musselburgh (5f, good) missing the break and then hampered early (hardly an excuse). 0-7 so far with her form described as modest at best.
Defending a long losing run which stands at 33 (last win February 2018), returns to turf after a credible AW run (third) over 6f last time. Looks a limited sort these days though and would need the main players to falter to regain winning ways.
Poor maiden (0-26) who comes with quirks (often looks ungainly in her races), carries her head awkwardly. Got within 2L of Shesadabber in a weak race at Hamilton last time over this trip, faces quicker ground today, makes little appeal.

A low-grade sprint handicap to start an equally modest card although with three last time out winners this has more depth to it than many contests of this ilk. It’s one of the non-winners last time out that is the suggestion in the shape of PAVERS PRIDE who ought to be able to reverse Hamilton form with Shesadabber (winner again since) if he starts the race on level terms this time around. Paul Midgley’s sprinter has been knocking on the door of late and has most to fear from Star Citizen an easy winner over C&D last Monday. He’s well handicapped but the cheekpieces do need to work again under a 4lb penalty. Lady Celia may find this a little too sharp, a return to 6f would suit her better.
