Decent fourth here first race post-lockdown followed by close second at Wolverhampton (both over 6f). Upped 2lb for latest effort but looks sure to go close once more.
Recorded her first AW success when finishing ½L clear of her rivals in a handicap over 5f here in early June. Flopped subsequently in warmer Wolverhampton race but perhaps a return to this surface can help her bounce back.
Lightly raced gelding third on debut but not better than eighth in three subsequent starts. 5lb lower than handicap debut eighth of 12 so should fare a little better here.
Second at Yarmouth over 7f last July but unplaced in three races since. Back in trip here for the first time and it might just suit so not ruled out here.
Won at Newcastle and Southwell in March and second here after the lockdown. Poor effort on turf latest but back on the AW he has leading claims for prolific yard.
Bungle Inthejungle filly finished sixth in 6f and 7f maidens here and at Windsor. Handicap debut now so market can help a little.
Winner at Southwell in November but four races since have done little to suggest an imminent follow up and on balance he rates a most unlikely winner.
Looked poor early on, but improving in nurseries, winning at Kempton in August and matching that form when second of 10 at Leicester. Ended juvenile campaign with below par effort and started out this season in similar manner.
Ordinary gelding finished third of sixth at Windsor latest (one of his better efforts) but even that run would only see him scrapping for minor placings here.
Forecasts
Champagne Supanova (9/4), Kilconquhar (4/1), Come On Girl (5/1), Twice As Likely (7/1), Street Life (15/2), Magnificia (9/1), Lilkian (11/1), Baileys Freedom (28/1), Itsajungleoutthere (40/1)
After two really encouraging efforts post lockdown CHAMPAGNE SUPANOVA looks the one to beat here especially under the excellent Adam Kirby. Dual AW winner in March Street Life may provide the biggest threat although course winner Twice As Likely is also respected.
- Champagne Supanova
