Maiden winner over 7f in Ireland last year; has run well enough in two all-weather appearances last month for new trainer; though probably needs some more help from the handicapper before getting on the board.
Heavy-ground course winner last summer from 6lb lower mark; decent effort over this trip on second start back nine days ago, may want to see some more rain to enhance her chances.
Won twice last year for Brian Ellison, including quick-ground Wetherby turf success over this sort of trip; didn't appear to last home over 1m2½f at Haydock on second start for this yard recently and should have a say eased 1lb back in trip.
She did win a Listowel handicap (7f, yielding; 20-1) in June last year but her form tailed off towards the autumn. Better run over this C&D on second start for this handler but needs more again to stand winning chance.
Oasis Dream filly, promising second in Haydock novice (7f, good to firm) in May 2019 on second run; was back from 396-day absence when fifth of eight at Beverley (7½f, good; 9-1) on h'cap bow recently and should improve up in distance.
Debut second at Newcastle over 7f in October showed that she has ability (bred to be useful); too keen on return/h'cap bow at Haydock (1m2f, good; 7-4f) and finished tamely. Too soon to write off the daughter of Al Kazeem.
Soft ground maiden winner over 7f at Haydock last August last year and most recently 20-1 second of 10 over this C&D (soft) nine days ago. Up 1lb in ratings and should be in the shake-up again.
In and out performer who boasts a 1-26 strike-rate on turf; she was beaten 3L when fourth of nine at Haydock (7f, soft; 5-1) nine days ago and may run her race again but others more convincing for win purposes.
Mukhadram filly showed promise in novice company in the autumn over 7f/1m on good/soft; 5L second of six over C&D (good to soft) 18 days ago and retains scope for progress.
Ended last summer with wins over C&D (good) and at Ayr (1m, good to soft; 13-2); may have needed the run on comeback from 350 days off at Ayr (1m2f, soft) on Monday and could build on that now.
Forecasts
Antico Lady (10/3), Let Her Loose (6/1), Finery (13/2), Sarvi (13/2), Bell Heather (7/1), Reclaim Victory (7/1), Perfect Rose (8/1), Rosemay (12/1), Risaalaat (22/1), Engles Rock (25/1)
Her runner-up effort over C&D on seasonal bow came behind a thriving rival and so there's every chance RECLAIM VICTORY can go one better here from just 1lb higher. This is wide open in truth and so Antico Lady is shortlisted having seemingly had her stamina stretched to breaking point at Haydock last time. Let Her Loose has scope for further progress after finishing second in a C&D handicap recently while Rosemay ended last season with back-to-back wins and should be match-fit now after a run around Ayr on Monday.
- Reclaim Victory
- Antico Lady
- Let Her Loose
