Not beaten far on debut at Newmarket (6f) in June but looked out of her depth in Group 3 Albany Stakes (6f, good to soft) next time. This is much easier however so enters calculations based on debut run.
Kodi Bear filly. Very little market support on debut and was well behind when sixth in 7f Chepstow maiden at the end of June. Drops in trip but has tough task on her plate in this.
First foal. Dam was a winner over 1m and Group placed in her career and a half-sister to useful winners Boots And Spurs (1m) and Alfathaa. Unknown pedigree but looks to be stable's second string.
Beaten 2L on her debut at Lingfield (6f) in June before looking well out of her depth in Albany Stakes (6f) at Royal Ascot last time. Back down in class but others have more pressing claims.
Vadamos filly. Sent off 200/1 for debut effort and ran to those odds when 37L 11th at Windsor (6f) last month. Very much likely to be outsider once more in a deeper contest.
67,000 gns yearling. Dam was Group-placed and a winner over 6f. Half-sister to 1m2f winner Entrusting and 1m scorer Royal Nation. Nice pedigree but may be one to do better in time.
Homebred. Dam was a winner up to 1m3f on the track. Half-sister to Group 2 winners Policy Maker (1m4f) and Pushkin (1m6f). Hails from family of Pientre Celebre. Bred to be smart and leading claims on debut.
75,000 gns yearling. Half0sister to winners Desert Haze (1m) and Felix The Poet (1m1f). Dam was a winner in France over 1m1f. Yard in good form and worth a market check on debut.

Forecasts
Soft Whisper (2/1), Cirrus (10/3), Mariance (4/1), Whiskey 'n' Chips (4/1), Little Rollright (9/1), Envega (10/1), Prado (12/1), Heat And Dust (16/1), In It Again (80/1), Matira Bay (250/1)
It wouldn't be surprising if a smart juvenile was to be unearthed from this contest, preference is for CIRRUS to get off the mark at the third attempt. The two year old's debut run at Newmarket sets the form standard and she can be forgiven for being pitched at the deep end last time out. Her experience could prove vital. Soft Whisper may be her main danger given she's bred to be top performer, however she should come on in time and over further, while the likes of Heat And Dust also has a top-level pedigree and is noted to improve markedly from this, her debut effort.
- Cirrus
- Soft Whisper
