Mutiple AW winner who has also scored twice on turf over 1m5f/1m6f (both on good). 2lb lower than his Ayr success 13-months ago, and beaten just 2L from today's mark at Newmarket last month. Should be thereabouts.
Added to his 1m2f Newmarket maiden win (good to firm) when scoring over 1m4f here last September, when 4lb lower. Goes well fresh, trip an unknown, but a big player from this mark if he can see it out.
Thorough stayer who is at his best on good/fast ground. Now just 1lb higher than his most recent success in a York handicap this time last year. Held here over 2m4f at the Royal meeting but showed prior to that he retains ability. Cheekpieces go on.
Won back-to-back AW novice events (1m2f/1m4½f) last autumn and improved on those when going close in a couple of handicaps at Kempton. Stepped up on that on his reappearance, but a bit to prove after his recent return there.
Dual winner at Goodwood over this trip, both on a sound surface, though is without success for over two years now. Has slipped to a handy mark after a 5L defeat on his reappearance at Newmarket, and can't rule him out.
Routed the opposition at both Lingfield (1m3½f, good to firm) and Doncaster (1m4f, soft) last summer in class 5 and class 4 handicaps respectively. Not disgraced in a class 2 here next time. 2lb lower now and could kick on again up in trip.
It's now over four years since he earned the only handicap win of his career in this code (1m2f, heavy). Last two Flat runs have been when well beaten in both the 2018 and 2019 renewals of the Ascot Stakes (2m4f). Drops 6lb. Bit to prove.
Triple winner last autumn over 1m2f-1m4f, his turf wins both being on testing ground, and perhaps notable that his two best AW efforts have been on the slow Fibresand surface. Back on a competitive mark, but a bit to prove on this going.
Triple AW winner over 1m2f/1m4f. Last of nine in his only turf outing to date. Would be competitive from today's mark on AW, but has a fair bit to prove now back on turf.
Both his turf wins have been on ground slower than good. Has won over this trip on AW. Needs to produce more than we have seen on his two recent AW starts if he is to prove up to winning this.
Multiple AW winner at up to 1m5½f, who has also scored on good ground on turf. Unraced on this surface since September 2018. Has improved since, but needs improvement to defy this mark. Cheekpieces go on.
Distance winner on good ground at Sandown this time last year, when just 2lb lower in a 0-85. Dead-heated in a 0-90 at Newbury (good to soft) next time, when 1lb higher. Yet to win when fresh, but often goes well. Interesting.
Sole win came over a similar trip at Haydock (good to firm) two years ago, when 4lb lower and in a lower grade. Can't rule him out from this mark, given some relatively consistent form, but does need to pull out a bit more.

An interesting and competitive-looking handicap where the suggestion is APPARATE, who is less exposed than many, goes well when fresh and although he has a bit to prove over this far, he looks likely to see it out. Island Brave and Mancini should both be very competitive, while Good Tidings, Platitude and Baasem can all have some sort of case made, and lower down the racecard. Emenem is not ruled out.
