Second to Palace Pier on debut before winning a 1m maiden here in September. Entitled to have needed the outing (stiff task) when seventh of 8 to Russian Emperor in Hampton Court Stakes at Royal Ascot last time, and respected now eased in class.
Won a 1m novice at Kempton on debut by 2L from Hurricane Alex, and benefited from step up to this trip trip when taking a handicap at Ripon last time by 6½L from Dark Heart. Unexposed, and open to further progress, so shortlisted.
Improved when a close second over shorter here on his return, and better than the bare result when fifth of 17 to Hukum in King George V Handicap at Royal Ascot last time. Still has more to offer from current mark, especially if learning to settle.
Won his first two on AW, and back on the up with a luckless ½L fourth of 17 to Hukum in King George V Handicap at Royal Ascot. Met plenty of trouble in running there, and is clearly ahead of his mark having gone up just 2lb.
Best effort to date when beating Sarvan by a short-head in a 1¼m novice here three weeks ago. Opening mark demands improvement, but he's unexposed beyond 1m, and may well improve again.
Placed on first two starts including when finishing a neck second to Valyrian Steel in a 1¼m maiden at Newcastle on his return. Had an easy task at Leicester last time, and goes handicapping with scope to do better.

Arthurian Fable (85/40), Group One Power (9/4), Grand Bazaar (4/1), Spectrum Of Light (11/2), Eastern Sheriff (7/1), Wise Glory (15/2), Mascat (10/1)
Hard to imagine a more open handicap on one hand, with all seven unexposed and open to progress at this sort of trip, but it's hard to deny that GROUP ONE POWER was an unlucky loser in the King George V Handicap at Royal Ascot, and the handicapper has given him a big chance with just a 2lb rise for that effort. Eastern Sheriff is preferred to Mascat for monor honours.
