Well handicapped but below par in both previous starts for his current yard; also never won over this trip and needs to prove he's got the speed to cope with the drop in distance. (Vets certificate when withdrawn at Haydock on Sunday.)
Easy winner of a three-runner handicap at Yarmouth at the start of this month, which brought her tally to 2-4 so far; 6lb penalty to carry but worth a try before reassessment; trip and ground suit so lots in her favour. One to take seriously.
Made a winning start for Charlie Hills last May but failed to add to her tally in eight more runs for that yard. The filly was also well held on debut for her current trainer when last of 5 at Yarmouth last month; something to prove again.
There was give underfoot for the filly's only previous win on turf, so any rain getting into the ground would be a bonus. However, she's been hard to predict for a while and looks one to be wary of despite being just 1lb above that winning mark.
0-6 so far but has shown some promise on a couple of occasions; best effort so far registered when just touched off from this mark on the AW last November. Needs to better this season's form, though.
Drops in trip for his handicap debut and might find some improvement judging by his breeding. Does need to do just that after three very modest displays before now, though. Others look to be stronger candidates.
Showed snippets of ability when trained in Ireland by Johnny Murtagh but endured a couple of lengthy absences since; posted a modest effort back on turf last month (first run since February); 5lb lower and something to prove now tried in a visor.
Responded well in a first-time visor (for today's rider) when finishing second at Wolverhampton when last seen; now 2lb higher and a bit to prove now switched to turf after the better part of a six months break; might just need the run.
Dual winner on the AW already this year but two starts on turf haven't been so encouraging. She's back on a winning mark and partnered with a jockey with a 20% strike-rate from the last fortnight, but still needs a lot to go her way. (0-5 on turf.)
A game winner at Leicester 10 days ago (Hot Hot Hot was 6½L back in fourth) and may have more to come now his fitness is proven. However, the penalty is a concern and wouldn't want too much rain to get into the ground; still respected.
Well held in all three previous runs and begins her handicap career on a lowly mark. Needs a big step up from previous form if she's going to play any sort of part this time.

Ice Ice Lady (6/5), Glamorous Force (9/2), Crime Of Passion (15/2), Diamonds And Rust (8/1), Final Deal (10/1), Silver Start (12/1), Hot Hot Hot (14/1), A Go Go (16/1), Edge Of The Bay (20/1), Knight's Gate (40/1), Fantom Force (40/1), Yolo Aris (80/1)
A weak race that is within the compass of ICE ICE LADY and the 6lb penalty for a smooth win last time isn't insurmountable in this company. In-form rider Hollie Doyle showed her cool in the saddle when the gelding drifted as hit the front that time and it's more than likely she can coax a bit more from her mount. Glamorous Force was also a gutsy winner last time (he holds Hot Hot Hot on a literal reading of the form) but he looks less appealing under his penalty; especially if the predicted rain alters the state of the ground. Final Deal and Fantom Force are also capable of hitting the frame at this level and merit checks in the betting.
