Rapidly improving since coming back from an absence, winner of both handicaps he's contested and ran away with one at Doncaster (7f) two weeks ago, plenty left in the tank as he won by 5l. New mark has now kicked in but a major player all the same.
Steady progression throuhgout last season, culminating in a win at Thirsk (7f) and a very respectable sixth in Redcar's valuable 2yo Trophy. Has been gelded since last being seen, but like many from the yard, may need a run to put him straight.
Has a course win to his name, successful over 6f here in soft ground last July but you'd be hard pushed to say he's progressed since then. Nevertheless, some respectable efforts lately give him a chance if he appreciates this step back up to 7f.
Got her just reward for her consistency over the last year with victory over 6f at Recar last month, although it was a weak race for the grade and she did not need to improve. Trip and likely ground fine here and she will no doubt run her race.
Winner on his 2yo debut at Newcastle and has progressed nicely since then, coming back from absence to finish a close third at Pontefract last month (6f). Tries cheekpieces and steps back up to 7f, which could help his finishing effort a little.
Steps into handicap company after three starts, placed twice but in truth a little disappointing he couldn't get a bit closer at Lingfield on reappearance, readily held in third; needs to get back on track now.
Only had the two starts and no surprise to see him gelded after his below-par display at Kempton last September when he had other things on his mind pre-race. Open to plenty of improvement now and market likely to give the best clue.
Winner on debut last July (heavy ground) at Leicester but not seen out again until reappearing at Redcar last month where he took a bit of a backward step. Possible he needed that and open to improvement, but has a small question to answer now.
Had four starts to date, two of which he's blown out but the other two has shown good form, including on reappearance when fourth at Doncaster, faded late after trying to make all. Should come on for that and looks fairly weighted.
Winner over 7f at Chelmsford in November but too keen for her own good on reappearance at Newbury last month. Might do better now the freshness is out of her and from a decent draw, improvement a possibility.
Won on debut for Archie Watson at 2 but not progressing and turned in a very poor effort on first run for her new yard at Kempton last month. Can't be entertained as the likely winner on that.
Steady progression in three starts so far and in truth, a little unlucky not to have got his head in front already, twice beaten a neck or less. Should strip fitter for Ayr run last month, stays 7f fine, and may have more to come.
Very unexposed at two fourth places in Northern maidens/novices in the North, on both occasions looking very much like a step up in trip would suit. Probably not best drawn but that aside, looks a potential improver and is worth consideration.
Winner of three of his last five starts as a 2yo but they were all at a lower level and at sprint trips, so has a bit to prove on a few scores here; may well need the run regardless, having not been seen since last October.
Came good in a little race at Catterick last August (6f, soft) but two runs this season, whilst probably needed, haven't been to that level; possible a step up to 7f may help but bottom line is that others hold stronger claims.
Has scope physically to improve and did do a little better in soft ground at Haydock last week, sticking to the task for a fairly distant fourth. Chances if reproducing his close sixth at Ayr (7f, good) last September and is worth a second look.

LA TRINIDAD goes from strength to strength and can complete the hat-trick before the handicapper finally starts to get to grips with him. He's looked a new horse since the resumption of racing and won with plenty left in the tank at Doncaster last time. End Zone could leave his form behind now he's been gelded and the handicapper hasn't had a lot to go on. He looks one of a few potential dangers, along with Abstemious (who would appreciate a bit of rain), the consistent Imperial Gloriana and at a bigger price, Cassy O might give you a run for your money.
