12L winner at Huntingdon last autumn off a mark of 112 but has struggled off higher marks since and probably needs further respite from the handicapper to get back on the winning trail.
In the veteran stage and winless since 2017 but still capable of some sound efforts in better class and poor run when last seen easily forgiven due to very heavy ground. Will appreciate this less demanding company.
Last win was gained here two years but has generally not been in the same force since, hence the veteran can now race off a 20lb lower mark now and others make more appeal.
Expensive to follow as a chaser as still a maiden over fences despite been sent off favourite four times. First run under Rules for 18 months though did win a Point-to-point in the spring so won't lack for fitness.
C&D last October when with David Dennis and back on the same mark having disappointed in last two runs. Now starts off for new yard and with blinkers back on (two wins gained in them) has to be of interest.
Multiple winner in the past though hasn't scored for nearly two years. Still capable of a bold showing though and always commands respect at a venue where he has won on four of his eight visits.
Three career wins have been gained in 0-105 company and has been found out in this grade in the past so others make more appeal.

MONBEG RIVER is in the veteran stage but will welcome this drop in grade having ran in the Skybet Chase just two runs ago and can get back in the winners enclosure. Captain Buck's is generally there or thereabouts and should run his race while Flying Verse, with the blinkers back on commands respect.
