Off time: 12:36 | Winning time: 1m 11.76s

(1)

Infinite Grace¹⁷

Age: 3| Weight: 9-9| J: Cam Hardie| T: D O'Meara| OR: 77| C

40/1

Dual winner over 5f last year; close to best form when runner-up at Redcar (5f, good; 20-1) 17 days ago and solid claims here if in same mood from 1lb higher mark.

Form: 1755-72

(13)

My Kinda Day¹⁷

Age: 3| Weight: 9-7| J: T Hamilton| T: R A Fahey| OR: 75| BF

8/1

Underwent wind op and was gelded over the winter; twice gone close at Newcastle (6f, AW; 6-1) and Redcar (5f, good; 11-4f) since returning. Should be fine back up in trip with mark left alone after 1L fourth last time.

Form: 7236-24

(10)

Hurstwood¹⁷

Age: 3| Weight: 9-7| J: Danny Redmond⁽⁵⁾| T: P D Niven| OR: 75| D

100/1

Dual winner (5f, soft/6f, good) as a two-year-old last year amid some useful form; changed hands over winter and failed to fire in two runs at Haydock and Redcar over 5f. Now moved yard again and handicapper has cut him some slack. May bounce back.

Form: 5070-70

(12)

Zim Baby³^{(ex 6)}

Age: 3| Weight: 9-7| J: George Rooke⁽⁵⁾| T: M Appleby| OR: 69| BF| D

13/8

Lightly-raced filly made all for wide-margin Thirsk win (6f, good to soft) penultimate run; unable to justify 11-10 favouritism under penalty at Haydock on Sunday, fading late after getting to the front. Needs to find more on that evidence.

Form: 434618

(4)

What A Business⁹

Age: 3| Weight: 9-4| J: B A Curtis| T: R Fell & S Murray| OR: 72| D

8/1

Just one win in busy juvenile campaign, scoring over 6f at Nottingham (good to soft) in August. May have needed reappearance on AW and has since shaped better (fourth) at Thirsk (6f, good to soft) having made running. Competitive.

Form: 3238-94

(11)

Manolith^p¹

Age: 3| Weight: 9-3| J: Andrea Atzeni| T: D O'Meara| OR: 71| C

6/1

Hardly lightly-raced for one of his age; dual 2yo 5f turf winner, looks as though the handicapper is in charge. All three runs this year are of a similar nature, mark unchanged, others better treated (Engaged 13.15 Pontefract Tuesday).

Form: 81-6522

(3)

Iva Reflection^b⁹

Age: 3| Weight: 9-3| J: D Allan| T: T D Easterby| OR: 71

7/1

Appeared to take well to first-time blinkers when almost making all at Thirsk (6f, good to soft; 25-1) last week; mark unchanged and interesting here if the headgear has desired effect once more.

Form: 8594-02

(8)

Dandizette¹⁷

Age: 3| Weight: 9-2| J: Thore Hammer-Hansen⁽⁵⁾| T: Adrian Nicholls| OR: 70

40/1

Twice a winner at 5f at two, both times on a sound surface and sharp track suits; yet to fire in two runs this season but dropping down the ratings and Thore Hammer Hansen takes off 5lb on a track where she was second to Infinite Grace last season.

Form: 1526-89

(7)

War of Clans²⁵

Age: 3| Weight: 9-1| J: Harrison Shaw⁽³⁾| T: K R Burke| OR: 69| D

16/1

As good as ever at Doncaster (6f, good to soft; 11-1) last month on return from a break; up 5lb for that success but should be well suited by the better ground and can be in the mix again.

Form: D5108-1

(5)

Captain Corcoran²¹

Age: 3| Weight: 9-0| J: Phil Dennis| T: E J Alston| OR: 68

66/1

Winner of a 5f soft-ground Navan handicap in October for Johnny Murtagh; not found anything like his best in two runs back from a break for new trainer and needs to show some positives before supporting. Handicapper cutting some slack.

Form: 2461-00

(9)

Bring The Money¹⁵³

Age: 3| Weight: 9-0| J: George Bass⁽⁷⁾| T: M R Channon| OR: 68

22/1

Promising form in four AW starts (5f/6f) from November through until February; opening mark of 68 isn't a gimme but rider takes off valuable 7lb and could get competitive if taking to the turf surface first time.

Form: 03-25

(2)

Silent Agenda^b⁷

Age: 3| Weight: 9-0| J: D Tudhope| T: A Watson| OR: 68

15/2

Five-race maiden; ran well in first-time blinkers at Kempton (7f, AW; 25-1) a week ago when beaten a neck into second (caught late, front pair clear). First turf handicap from same mark and entitled to be in the mix with a repeat.

Form: 450-42

(6)

Rebel Redemption^v¹⁴⁶

Age: 3| Weight: 8-13| J: Jason Hart| T: J & S Quinn| OR: 67| D

33/1

Showed improved form on the AW circuit during the winter; winning at Chelmsford and Newcastle over 6f. Has to find a bit more from this mark and also prove himself as effective on turf.

Form: 4651-15

Forecasts

Zim Baby (13/8), Manolith (6/1), Iva Reflection (7/1), Silent Agenda (15/2), My Kinda Day (8/1), What A Business (8/1), War of Clans (16/1), Bring The Money (22/1), Rebel Redemption (33/1), Infinite Grace (40/1), Dandizette (40/1), Captain Corcoran (66/1), Hurstwood (100/1)

This is remarkably open stuff. Infinite Grace (second), My Kinda Day (fourth) and DANDIZETTE clashed at Redcar recently and while the first-named pair did better, the Dandy Man filly met some trouble in the run and perhaps might have got much closer bar that. With Thore Hammer Hansen taking off 5lb, she's got a good chance of closing the gap on revised terms and she also ran well (second to Infinite Grace) here last season. Up in trip she might be value at the forecast prices. Iva Reflection, Silent Agenda and War of Clans all have their merits too.
