Won three times last year, including in contrasting conditions at Yarmouth (1m) with blinkers fitted. Headgear back on when third at Wolverhampton last time, running on well despite tending to lug to his left. Yard in fine form.
Winner on the Flat in France early last year but has pulled up on two of his four hurdles starts since joining this yard and ran badly back on the Flat at Chelmsford last month. Makes no appeal.
Form has a rather patchy look in recent times, but did produce one of his better efforts when fourth of 12 to River Dawn at Kempton last time. On a good mark if building on that, but not certain to do so.
Hasn't won since 2017, but ran well after a slow start when seventh behind Muntadab at Epsom on Saturday. Return to 1m will suit, but there must be a worry about being asked to turn out so quickly.
Largely disappointing for Mick Appleby in 2019, and no sign of a revival on first start for new yard after a break at Goodwood last month. Mark tumbling, but best left alone at present.
No easy ride, and tends to start slowly. Caught the eye when sixth of 11 to Crystal Casque at Kempton last time, and he's on a mark he can win off, but he's not one to trust to back that effort up.
Wearing a first-time tongue tie (absent here) when winning a 1m handicap at Southwell in March. Below form at Wolverhampton last month, but should be better for that spin after a break. Market useful.
Failed to win in 2019, and while well treated on form he showed last summer, he began to look a hard ride later in the year, and isn't one in whom to place any great faith.
Yet to win a race, but well backed and showed improved form when 1¼L second of 11 to Fortune And Glory in a C&D handicap last time. Will be competitive if he can repeat that effort.
Sole win was gained at Kempton over a year ago and that a track he has ran well at since. Bit disappointing on turf, and cheekpieces reached for after a below-par effort at Chepstow last time.
Looking very well handicapped these days but you've got to go back to 2017 to find the last time he got his head in front. Failed to justify marked support at Goodwood on return, although entitled to benefit from that outing.

Puerto Banus is respected after improving to be second to Fortune And Glory in a 1m handicap on the straight course here last time, and he'll go well if building on that. He remains a maiden, though, and preference is for top weight PURGATORY, a proven winner at this trip who was back to form last time, and comes from a yard among the winners in recent days. Medieval has a big chance if building on a promising return in better class at Epsom on Saturday, but this represents a quick turnaround, which tempers confidence a little.
