Kept good company since winning on debut at Newmarket in May 2018; he was also placed in a Group 2 back at HQ as a juvenile and subsequently forced to ply his trade at a higher level than this; now eased in grade and a big threat to all.
C&D winner from a 7lb lower mark last June; he's posted a couple of encouraging efforts already this season and won't be phased by dropping back to 5f; ground conditions should also be fine but possibly still a little high in the weights at present.
Not the force he once was and possible he's better on synthetics these days. Should strip fitter after last month's blow out at Haydock and has won over 6f at this course. But needs to be at his best over this trip and has work on from his low draw.
Finished with a flourish to nab a place in the frame at Haydock last time (Tropics well held that day) and competitively weighted for a bold effort here. Two years since his last win on turf, though, and consistency has never been his strong point.
Won over C&D last July and now well handicapped in comparison. However, both this season's runs have been modest efforts at best and he has a bit to find. The fitting of a tongue tie might help but others make more appeal.
Gained the last leg of a three-timer when justifying favouritism over 6f here last summer; has struggled on higher marks since and is still 5lb above that last winning mark despite being cut some slack; faced with a stern test back at 5f.
Has won over C&D but that was in April 2017 and he's been a frustrating and expensive character to follow since. He's capable of going close if on song but is the type who often leaves himself with too much to do; risk attached.
Good effort when finishing second on the Polytrack at Kempton on his penultimate start (Amplfy held in fifth) but too keen for his own good when held at Bath last time out. Dangerously well handicapped but not particularly well drawn here.
Won a fillies only handicap over 6f at this course last may and has a feasible chance from a 1lb lower mark. However, she's never raced over the minimum trip before and recent starts have hardly been inspiring. Something to find this time.

KONCHEK has undoubtedly been hard to win with since his juvenile season and his recommendation does come with a note of caution. However, he's generally faced a much stiffer calibre of opponent and will certainly appreciate the ease in grade after his mid-division place in the Wokingham at Royal Ascot last month. He likes to race with the pace and, as he'll be in full stride when others have been burnt off, he could represent excellent value in an open sprint handicap. Spoof is in good heart and merits consideration despite the burden of a low draw, while Blue De Vega and Dark Shot are others who have frustrated on occasions but also possess the ability to go close if on song.
