Reeled off a turf four-timer last year at up to 1m4f before finding the step up to Listed company just beyond her (ran with credit on both starts). Returned from a long break to finish last of five in Group 3 at Haydock (11.6f, good), eased in grade.

Only win came in 1m Limerick maiden, has some good form in higher grades including a fifth in 2019 Irish 1000 Guineas. Highly tried for the most part, air of this yard getting to grips with her, better than she could show at Ascot last time.

Three-time winner last year, all her victories coming on soft/heavy at up to 1m (likely to stay 1m2f). Made a satisfactory return to action at Haydock (1m, good), only beaten by two progressive types, may do better racing against her own sex.

Progressed rather stalled as a 2yo (0-5); rejuvenated by a break/increased trip to win two handicaps at up to 1m4f. Made the most of an easy opportunity last time to beat two rivals (form franked), up in grade and weights (7lb rise), more of a test.

Still looked rough around the edges when scoring on her handicap debut at Goodwood last year off 4lb lower over 1m4f (good/firm). Failed to build on that win in two subsequent attempts (both on a softer surface), wouldn't want rain for this return.

Took until her ninth start to get off the mark, showing improved form to make all at Lingfield on the AW over 1m4f. Two respectable efforts since in AW handicaps, 4lb out of the handicap here stepping onto turf for the first time, others appeal more.

Something of a wildcard having confirmed her debut promise switched to turf last time at Goodwood (9.9f, good/firm), winning narrowly after going well for most of the contest. Inexperienced, should have more to offer on handicap debut; interesting.

Forecasts

Tulip Fields (13/8), Be More (4/1), Asiaaf (5/1), Alemagna (7/1), Dean Street Doll (8/1), Bella Vita (8/1), Jamaican Jill (25/1)

Verdict

Only a relatively small field but it could well produce a thought-provoking contest with hat-trick seeking Tulip Fields one of the main contenders. She may not have things all ger own way though and the handicapper has made life tougher for her. Be More ran into a couple of progressive 4yo’s last time and steps up in trip which could suit while Asiaaf is a fascinating handicap newcomer having won at Goodwood form which has been franked by the win of the fourth already. DEAN STEEET DOLL could be the best of these though having been highly tried in Ireland. Her handicap debut at Ascot on her second run for the Menuisier team showed promise, Ryan Moore an eye-catching jockey booking.
  1. Dean Street Doll
  2. Asiaaf
  3. Tulip Fields
