Won three times in 2017, but off for nearly three years subsequently. Shaped well when fifth of 10 to Bell Rock at Newmarket on belated return, but needs to show he can build on that.
Won his first two career starts last year including a 7f Listed race at the Curragh before going the wrong way. Signs of a revival when fifth in Buckingham Palace Stakes at Royal Ascot, and potentially well treated if maintaining that upturn.
Likely to have needed his return at Newcastle having been off the course since September 2017, but not in the first flush of youth, and needs to prove he retains ability.
Yet to prove he stays 1m (all four wins at shorter), and was again below form trying this trip at Newcastle last month. May well strip fitter now, but has a bit to prove.
Ran very well when third of 22 to Sir Busker in Silver Royal Hunt Cup at Royal Ascot last time, and showed he handles the mud when winning a 1¼m handicap at Newmarket in November. Hard to knock his chances here.
Best effort last term when winning in soft ground at Nottingham in October, and only weakened late on his return at Sandown. Can get competitive with that under his belt and conditions to suit.
Won at Ayr last term, and good effort to make the frame on next two starts. Largely below form since, but fared better when second to Glasses Up at Ayr last time, and is back on a workable mark.
Unraced at 2 yrs, so did well to win four times in a busy campaign last year. Good fourth over further here two starts back, but failed to justify market confidence at Ayr last time. Yet to win beyond 1m, so return to this trip could help.
Runner-up off 3lb higher at Beverley last June, but he's been below form on his last three starts, including when mid-field on return at Doncaster last month. Bit better than the result there, but needs to show he can build on that
Not won in a while, but placed twice off higher marks last season. Unfancied and ran poorly over C&D on his return, but probably needed that, and not a forlorn hope.
Won both AW starts this year having been gelded/changed yards in between, and ran with credit when third of 10 to Global Spirit on handicap debut over the extended 1m here on his return. Unexposed, and one to take seriously now.
Returned from a break with a 1L victory in a heavy-ground handicap over C&D in August, and matched that when runner-up here next time. Disappointing on his AW return, but ought to do better returned to this venue.
Won at Newmarket and Ascot in 2019, but failed to go on as expected. Below form on his reappearance at Newbury, but again seemed not to stay 1¼m, and worth another try at this trip.

SHELIR is also declared at Sandown on Sunday, but would be of serious interest if taking up his engagement here having hinted at a full-scale return to form at Royal Ascot. He's well treated on last season's spring form for Dermot Weld. Alternative Fact is another who was back to form at Ascot, and Ed Dunlop's charge won't mind the rain, while Barossa Red ran his best races on soft ground here last season, and a recent AW run should have put him right for this.
