In good form last year including when winning over C&D on soft ground in September. Well beaten last of ten here recently however and likely to have improved for that seasonal debut.
Stepped up markedly on previous efforts when victorious by ½L in a C&D handicap on good-to-soft ground last week. Carries a 5lb penalty for that success and interesting to see if she can repeat that effort.
25 race maiden finished a well beaten sixth in an eight runner 6f handicap at Ayr (good-to-firm) when making her seasonal reappearance last month. Likely to have come on for the run and is interesting in this event.
Well beaten on both starts since the resumption of racing including when beaten 17½L in finishing eighth over 6f at Redcar (good-to-firm) recently. Blinkers (first time) replace the cheekpieces worn of late.
Placed once from 12 starts and struggled over 6f on good-to-soft ground here last time out. Others make more appeal in this contest.
Forecasts
Shesadabber (5/6), Corton Lass (4/1), Popping Corks (6/1), Tavener (7/1), Laoise (12/1)
SHESADABBER registered a C&D victory on her most recent start and she can register her second success of the season by defying a 5lb penalty in this small field handicap. The selection can get the better of maiden Corton Lass who is likely to have improved for her latest outing while third place can go to top weight Popping Corks who has shown winning form here in the past.
- Shesadabber
- Corton Lass
- Popping Corks
